Question about Outlook Express

I hadn't checked my hotmail account in sometime as I am a student.  Today I received a message from my renter that they want to move out so I logged into my hotmail account to retrieve my contract.  All of my emails containing those important documents are gone?? Yikes I have an empty inbox and I am frantic as I don't know how to retrieve all my old emails.  Any help would be so appreciated!!

For a little over 24 hours, no emails have been showing up in my Outlook.com email inbox. Any suggestions, ideas, etc.? Thanks. I can't be notified by a message to my email address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) (I assume you'll take that out), so I guess I'll keep checking here.

I can see my messages and move around in Outlook, but I cannot open and read my messages??  Any ideas?

I see the message "there's a problem in outlook" for about one hour.

To test my new outlook account I sent a test message to my work e mail. Outlook is sending this message repeatedly , it appears in my sent mail folder, but it is not appearing in my work e mail inbox. The accouint is working I just need it to stop sending this test message

Almost half the time when I compose a message, my typing starts overwriting or overtyping my signature block and all text to the right of the cursor
