I have merged my two hotmail (now outlook) accounts probably close to 2 years ago. I presumed this meant that I did not have to frequently sign into my older hotmail (now outlook) account. However, when I did sign into my older hotmail account ALL of my
folders and emails had been deleted! How is it possible for this to happen without any type of warning or reminder to sign into the account to keep it active?! I presumed that since the two accounts were merged that it would keep the older account active and
safe from being deactivated. I am so upset to lose all of these emails as this is my original account I created with hotmail in 2001. Is there any way possible to recover these lost folders and emails? I have tried recovering the emails through the deleted
folder but this did not help as I was not the one to delete the folders and emails, it was outlook who deleted them. In this original account, I still have all of my contacts and my profile information is the same as when I set up the account. So where have
all of my emails and folders gone?! And is it possible to recover them?
I'm trying to switch from Gmail to Outlook.com. I have currently setup email forwarding on Gmail to my Outlook.com account. Gmail is properly forwarding emails, but I'm not receiving lots of emails in Outlook.com. They just disappear. I can't find them
in the Trash nor Junk folder. I've cleared my list of blocked senders and tried every possible options in the control panel, but I'm still only receiving emails from senders that are in my contacts. I've sent the Junk filter to standard and it still doesn't
work. Something is blocking emails that I want. This is rather frustrating. I'm still keeping a copy of all email in my Gmail account and I have to keep checking my Gmail account for emails and any given day I have a number of emails that just don't show up
in Outlook.com. I appreciate SmartFilter and Junk filter and all that, but if it's blocking legit emails, then this **** is broken!!!! Hope somebody from Microsoft can help me with this.
I have created an outlook.com account. Once I created an alias account it sends a confirmation email to my alias account with a link.
I click on the link and says it has a temporary problem and to try again. It has been a week and still no luck.
I just created another account and same thing. How can I make my alias primary if I cannot verify the account??

Every now and then I can not open my e-mails read or unread. I have to get out of the browser and then come back and reopen Outlook to read my message. Lately this is happening too often and frustrating. Does anybody encounter the same problem? If so, how did you solved it?
