I've been getting "This page is temporarily unavailable" for a few weeks now on outlook.com when I go to invite someone to messenger.
Steps I follow:
- I go to people.live.com
- I then find the user I want to invite to messenger and select the checkbox.
- I then go to the menu "Manage" and select "Invite on Messenger"
- I'm taken to the "Add friends to messenger" page, I then find the user in the Email Address box
- I click the next button, this takes me to a page that says "This page is temporarily unavailable"
I looked this problem up on your site and it told me to create a new thread so that you can investigate, so that's what I am doing. Please help.
Also I've already taken the steps to optimize my browser - and they are all running the most recent version as well. I've followed these steps on IE 10, Chrome and Firefox.
After clicking on it, the window changes to the web and it tries loading, I now get the message:
"Can't download
You don't have permission to download this file. For help, try contacting the person who manages this site."
When reviewing the share permissions, I see the file is set to "Shared" but it is to 2 old email addresses of mine (I migrated these to an "@live.com.au" address).
I cannot find where to change the permissions. Sending an email link to myself does nothing.
How do you change the Primary Parent in the Family Safety? I'm trying to get rid of an old gmail address that I don't want to use any more. I'm transferring all of my email over to my @live account. When I setup Family Safety, I used the old gmail account. I want to transfer that over to my @live account.
I was able to add the @live account as a secondary parent. When I try to remove the gmail parent it says that everything will be deleted. I don't want everything deleted, just the gmail email address that will soon become invalid.
Thanks.
Jose.
