I am trying to close my hotmail account. but I keep getting a message saying i need to cancel my Orange Windows Live Mobile Messenger.
I have had one of my hotmail accounts hacked, I have managed to provide enough info to reset it but the reset link sent to me does not work. Please help

But I get the error - this domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language.

After successfully filling out the questionnaire form to confirm my identity for my email acccount, I was asked to reset my password by being sent a link to click. However, each time I click on this link I get the following message:
"The link you received by email has expired, or you may have already used it. To reset your password, click the button below."
The button takes you back to the start of the process in requesting to reset your password.
As I use this email for work, any help would be especially appreciated!

I cannot get access to my own account. Tried the recovery several times. I only know whats my last email sent and some of the email address i sent. It just deny my access. My account is important to me. Had this account for 10 years now. Can send me an
email to change password for my existing account.

I just signed up for a new live.com email account. Then I setup the Outlook Express so that I can read my emails without logging into the Live.com website. While setting up Outlook, I made sure to fill correct email ID and password. However, the test email failed. And now I can only receive emails but can't send emails. I did receive the Hotmail welcome email which stated I need to verify my account by logging into my Live.com account. So I did that. But still, I cannot send emails through Outlook. I simply fail to understand this COOL Live.com feature. If you don't wish to allow people to use Outlook, simply write that down in bold letters so that people don't waste their time creating a Live.com email account.
Is there a simple fix to this problem? And I'm sure, I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. My sister created a Live.com email ID a week ago. She also tried to use Outlook and had the exact same problem. Can't send emails using outlook. So what do I have to do in order to verify myself that I'm not some spammer or hacker, I'm just a simple person trying to make my life easier by using Outlook.

Hi, I may be asking some very dumb question but I'm really confused.
I have a onenote note book, when I check its properties, it shows its location in my Sky Drive -> Documents.
However, when I open up my sky drive app on my start screen, Sky Drive says there was no file in Documents folder. All ther files are visible to the app though.
When I open up my file explorer on my computer and access my Sky Drive, the onenote note book shows up as a weblink in the document folder, and the size is around 1 KB. But when I go online and open up Sky Drive ->Document in a web browser, I can see the file and the space (50 MB) has already been taken up by the note book.
The notebook is synchronizing all the time and I have no problem using it.
So my question is, why is the notebook invisible in my Sky Drive App on start screen? Why does the file shows as a web link in my file explorer yet it has already taken up space in Sky Drive?

I am trying to log-in to my microsoft account in the Windows 8 laptop i have. am unable to do so - when i run the microsoft account troubleshooter it says Sync is off and makes the changes but still am unable to log-in.
