I have an account that I used for xbox live only and one that my new windows 8 computer created when i first set it up. I want the new one to have all of my purchases, gamer tag, saved games, and gamer score transferred to the new one. How can this happen?
When I attempt to approve my daughters new email address/windows id I am able to sign in to my account just fine. I am then prompted to enter my credit card info for my age verification which seems to go just fine. When I submit my info the web site
thinks for a moment and returns the message "Microsoft account is experiencing problems right now. Please try again later." No other info is given. I've been trying for a week and a half now, but nothing changes. Please help.
Guys,
Im running a startup here so my email is extremely valuable to me and must be accessed at all times. All of a sudden when I visit hotmail for past 2 days I've been getting this message, "

Call us overprotective...
...but we need to make sure you can receive a security code if you ever lose access to this account". It gives me one option for email which is a hotmail account that I used 8 years ago and forgot the password for, otherwise it gives me option to add in
my phone number which I just refuse to do. I dont want my cell number on the internet at all. I feel like its a breach of my privacy.
So, it says I can login for now, but theres only 5 days until I have to do 1 of those 2 options above.
Someone please help me. Ive logged in temporarily for now but I dont want this message to come up in 5 days. I need my email, its crucial to the growth of my business.
Thank you sincerely for any help.
(Im looking for a way around this without giving my cellphone number)
Thanks!

I am trying to send an email from Outlook.com. Every time I try to send a message it gets bounce back. The message I'm getting is:
Reporting-MTA: dns;col0-wss1-s5.col0.hotmail.com
Received-From-MTA: dns;COL402-EAS167
Arrival-Date: Tue, 13 Aug 2013 18:15:52 -0700
Final-Recipient: rfc822;**email address**
Action: failed
Status: 5.6.2
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;554 5.6.2 Delivery SMTP Error. Command: 3. Response: 535 5.7.8 Error: authentication failed:
. Type=1 (-956218626:896:-2147418113)
This is happening even if I'm sending an email to myself on the same account. It happens whether I try to send using the webmail or Outlook 2013. I don't understand how authentication failed when I'm logged onto the site. I don't know if it matters,
but I'm using a personal domain for my login/email address.
I have added a new contact, after entering all the information and saving the problem occurs when I search for that contact. The contact does not show in the contact list. I have entered this several times and have the same result. After I save the
details it comes up correctly but when i go to send an email the contact is not in the contact list. Very confusing. Hopefully someone will have an answer. Thanks so much.
I have an old school account that I still use from time to time. I also use an outlook email for my day to day affairs. I haven't been able to access my old school account for the past few days and really need to.
I get
" This account can't be used to access Outlook.com

You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account)"
I'm running out of ideas. I have logged out completely to my day to day account several times and nothing is working.

Everywhere on the Internet people (early adopters) is claiming they have received an email to give them a couple of gifts as a celebration of Outlook.com anniversary.
One is a promo code for SkyDrive that gives them 3GB of extra free space on the cloud data storage service for a year. The other gift sent to Outlook.com early adopters is a code for Skype that offers one free month of Skype group video calling for up to 10 people.

As I have been using Hotmail for almost 13 years and I was one of the first to change my Live ID to Outlook.com (by mistake btw), I supposed I was going to receive this but I didn't. Then I analyzed the situation and the reason could be because I already have 25Gb free.
So what's wrong about receiving 3Gb more and some Skype coupons? Why excluding those who have more than 7Gb?
