How do I activate my new alias please?

I have had a problem with my hotmail account for a very long time now.. Whenever I try to login it says that someone else is trying to use my account and I need to be verified first.
The problem is that the E-mail address that it sends the "request lost-password" E-mail to is not mine.. it has been changed and I don't know where it's going.
I have tried to use the automatic system to retrieve my account again but it asks me for things I never even used.. Like who I used to send E-mails to and XBOX live things.. (I only used this Hotmail account for MSN).. so that always fails and I never
get my password back
I have lost my full contact list and I can't remember everyones E-mail!!
Please help me :(
My emails only stay in my in box for a limited period. I can't find them anywhere and I cant find a setting which limites the time that an email stays visible. Can anyone help?

I need to reset my users' password, some of they have forgotten their passwords, and do not even remember their security questions' answers and are locked out of their accounts.

I have 3 emails stuck in my outbox going nowhere...2 have attachments and one is just text...they have not been sent...why? and how can I delete them?
Is there a way to disable the box "Send anyway?" whenever there's no subject used?
So I bought a new tablet from John Lewis and I asked for help inputting apps and emails on it. The gentleman kindly 'fixed' it for me. Or so I thought. He combined my gmail account with my hotmail account and now im not receivng any of my hotmail emails
and everything seems to have been deleted from my account.
Can anyone please explain to me in layman's terms whats going on? And how to sort this issue out? John Lewis hasnt helped nor has the microsoft customer services team.
How many recipients can I send one email to? I am sec. of a group that has 900 members?
Is there a limit to how many emails I can send to the group per day?
