Changing email address on my Microsoft account or transferring content from my old one to my new one.

Hi there.

Due to Google dropping support for active sync with gmail I have had to change my email address from a gmail.cm account to outlook.com to receive push notifications on my iOS based devices.

Currently my windows live account that is used for Xbox, games for Windows live, Skydrive, Windows 8 and various other services is registered to my gmail address. What I would like to do is be able to change the email address associated with this account to my new outlook.com address or be able to transfer any content or licenses from my old account to the new one.

Following are the services I am most interested in transferring/keeping.

Games for Windows live licenses

Xbox Live account data and licenses

Skydrive Data

Windows 8 sync info

It would be nice to have everything as single sign on again as opposed to needing to use my outlook.com account for email/contacts/calendars and my old gmail.com based Microsoft account for GFWL, Xbox Live, Skydrive and Windows 8 sync.

When I try to read my Outlook mail a Skype ad keeps popping up and I can’t get back to my mail.

I can open Outlook but before I can read anything a Skype ad pops up and wipes out Outlook and I can't get back to Outlook without shutting it down and reopening Outlook. Even when I get back I still can't access any email.

I had multiple Microsoft accounts and I wanted to combine them. I closed my Microsoft account with a Gmail account as the main email because I intended on adding that email as an alias in my live account, and then deleting the live account as an alias and setting my Gmail account as my primary alias. But when I try to add my Gmail account as an alias I get "This email address is already taken. Please try another." Then I tried to log in with my closed account to see if the closing didn't work, but when I tried logging in it said that account does not exist.

There seem to be a problem with my iPad connecting to the server….I am not receiving my emails and it is not constant

Movie Maker on Windows 8

I have a new computer running Windows 8 and I need windows movie maker. I checked for downloads or options. I downloaded the windows essential installer, but it says that this is an incompatible program. It will not run and it will not delete. I need to find a way to create movies using my pictures and music. Any thoughts?

My Hotmail has been deleted...I want to reactivate it, but Hotmail changed to outlook, and when I log in, it says the email doesn't exist. I havn't used my email for a year, and this happened after the outlook upgrade came, but i didn't change from hotmail. help?

"something went wrong, we can't help you out right now" Error message for 3 days now trying to get on Outlook.com for e-mail. Can get on my desktop, not this laptop. why? how to fix?

Mail connection problems on ipad/iphone

I have tried the suggested fixes in the "Cannot get mail - server failed" discussion board without success, although I am not entirely sure I was able to click on all tools as the new outlook account settings are not the same as described in Nov. 2012 (?). I have not had any problems with my hotmail account until this week, and now ipad 2 and iphone2 (soon to be upgraded!) show this "Cannot get mail" message sporadically (e.g., may be okay first thing in the AM, then not). Does Microsoft need to "adjust" my account somehow?
