Windows Live Mail problems
Hi

Just upgraded my PC from Vista to Windows 7. Browser is Firefox.

Configured WLM correctly and downloaded all my emails.
But all folders and my created folders are missing in the left margin. Perhaps they didn't get downloaded. How can I recover them?

had outlook express account. inherited a laptop with windows live mail. can receive emails but not send emails. they get stuck in outbox

I had an outlook express email service. When I inherited a laptop it had windows live mail. My outlook password had too few characters so I had to create a new password for windows. I can receive emails but have never been able to send emails...they go as far as outbox, Any help appreciated.

I set up a live.co.uk email address for my newborn daughter 2 years ago but now i get a message saying the account does not exist????

I set up a live.co.uk email account for my newborn daughter 2 years ago and I periodically send pictures to it as she grows up and has new experiences.  I am going to give the address and password to her for her 18th birthday.

I have tried to log into it for a while now but it keeps saying the account does not exist!!! please help as i need to get into the account and i need to send lots more pictures to it for her.

My older email (@live.com) account got hacked (I think at least), and the recovery info was changed…

Well, yeah, as above, the password got changed and maybe the secret question, BUT, I think I can prove the account is mine... See, there seems to be a very insignificant typo in the recovery email address, that is actually a huge factor in it! It ended up rather than being a .com it is a .coim Is there anyway this can be fixed??? The email in question that has supposedly been hacked is "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" I just want my email back safe and sound...

Every now & then I have to open the download & then see the pics.

Secondly current my storage is 10 GB,

how I can inrese to 25 GB,

Lost account after changing name

I recently changed my email name from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** to the alias I'm using, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. however, I accidentally deleted my primary address *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, but I need to re access this account as my paypal is connected to it and I can no longer access paypal. Please, any solution?

I will be leaving my ISP Sympatico (Bell Canada) to a different ISP.  But I had originally setup my windows live id using my Sympatico email.  But when I go in my profile to change my primary aliase, I see this listed under the Sympatico aliase:

 

"Your organization's policies prevent you from changing your primary alias."

 

Does that mean I will not be able to change my Windows Live ID to a new email addres and will loose all my Skype contacts, and other Microsoft services information when Bell will shut my Sympatico email?

 

If I need to create a new Microsoft Account, how can I transfer all my Skype contacts and other services info?

WLM won’t synch with outlook

I don't know why I keep asking questions here; I never get any response. But here I go again;

Ever since that last debacle of an update last week, my WLM at first wouldn't synch my inbox. I was told to uninstall that account and reinstall it.

I did this.

Now, it synchs the inbox, but the "error" box opens, saying it can't download certain folders, and takes FOREVER downloading the rest, all the while slowing down my system something awful.

Can someone PLEASE tell me what is up with this?

I have NOT changed any of my settings.
