I am obviously one of hundreds that have the same problem and none of the suggestions i have read on here works. In the good old Hotmail days i had about 200 contacts and now i only have 20.
I have not deleted any...so i cannot do the `restore deleted contacts` as i didnt delete them and its over 30 days that OUTLOOK deleted them.
I have read about putting cursor over Outlook etc and arrow will appear...that doesnt work either.
IS THERE A SOLUTION to the problem that you guys caused that we can implement and it actually works??

yes i have latest version of of safari on w7 installed etc so dont tell me to update that to fix prob either

I have the system requirements (windows 7) and up to date drivers, but movie maker won't open. What's up? I only downloaded it to import scans!!
As far as I can tell, there are only very very light duty management tools for outlook.com custom domains.

I don't see any way to reset the password, for instance.
Part of the reason we have company email is that if a person leaves, the company still has access to the emails which the leaving person received from and sent to customers.
Are there workarounds, or are more advanced management features on the way?

How do I "promote" a folder that is under / in another folder so that it is at the top level?? I have tried dragging the folders around but it always goes under the higher level folder that I stop at ...

Me and my friend kind of shared both of our e-mail accounts. She had her details on my security bit, which ment the primary e-mail was hers on my security details, and her alias. I tried to remove it all and i was logging in back and worth to my and hers

How can I get Windows Media Center to recognize music and picture folders I have in SkyDrive? I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro, which has SkyDrive integrated into it. However even though SkyDrive folders are available locally, Windows Media Center doesn't
recognize them. I did see SkyDrive mentioned once when I was browsing through Windows Media Center, but I haven't been able to find that location again.
I did not get the memo about migrating my old email. I did not know hotmail was going away. I thought this account was related to a different email of mine. In any case, I thought it would change seamlessly. So I now do not know where I stand. My problem
is I do not know what contacts are using the hotmail account as their link to me. I do not know who to contact or where to send the new email, because I have no history. I don't think I have completed the new login set up process. Could I get opinions about
my next step?

My brother needs the family account password to be able to sign into his xbox gold account. Problem is, I think my dad had that information, and he's recently had a stroke and can't remember much of anything. I'm 22, and have the information for my other
brother's login info, and he's not having any problems because I know all the information to help him with his, but for this brother, I have no idea how to help him. I'm not even certain it's my dad who put in the parent account, but it's the only thing that
makes sense. I don't know what to do, my dad's stroke is keeping him from remembering and I have no idea how to fix it without him.

I am encoutering a problem that my Windows 8.1 pro stopped sync today (it was fine until now). I am receiving a message under PC settings - SkyDrive - File storage that "Sorry, we couldnt connect to SkyDrive. Please try again later, or go to SkyDrive.com to change settings". As I proceeded to my account on SkyDrive.com, everything is normal.
Some things you might ask.
1. My Windows 8.1 pro is logged in with the same windows live account. Unter PC settings- Accounts I can only pick "Disconnect", which means I am properly logged in as usual.
2. I have another Windows 8 pro laptop running a desktop client version of Skydrive, which is still working perfectly.
3. I cannot possibly delete and reinstall SkyDrive on windows 8.1 pro since I have never downloaded any desktop client.
4. Because there is no desktop client on windows 8.1 pro, I cannot change anything on the web version of SkyDrive under PCs on the left (I actually dont see my windows 8.1 device under PCs since the first day I am using it).
5. My windows 8.1 is connected to the internet properly, no proxy.
6. SkyDrive Sync Engine continues to run and doesn’t crash at all.
7. The issue happens on all folders and files.
8. No any sorts of error icon or pop-up.
9. Cannot possibly reinstall since I have never installed Skydrive client. it just came with windows 8.1 pro.
Can somebody help me please.
