I just tried to set up Outlook 2013 on my new laptop.  I went to control panel and clicked on User Accounts then Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2013) (32-Bit).  I received a screen prompt asking to nominate a profile name, which I did and pressed enter.  I then saw a box called Mail Setup - Profile Name.  When I tried to click on the E-mail Accounts to set it up I got the error message: The time limit for logging was reached while waiting for system resources. Try Again.  MAPI 1.0 [000004C2].  Any ideas please?

I'm getting this error message when trying to get to outlook.com

 

Your account is not ready
It looks like your parent hasn't finished setting up the Family Safety settings for your account. Click "Go to Family Safety settings" to finish the process and get into your account.
 
 
When I click there I get a generic information page that doesn't help.
 
I saw in the discussion board that other people had the same problem and was fixed somehow. Please let me know how to fix this. Thank you!

Trusted devices – keeps telling me to open in IE when opened in IE

When I attempt to verify my computer, it opens a link in IE. Tells me it needs a code. IT texts me the code, I enter, the next screen tells me

I'm on Internet Explorer.

I c/p link, it just gives me the exact same site.

Unable to access Outlook for 2 days. I get the error message "This webpage is not available" when I tried to log in my hotmail. I have tried to access my hotmail account from 2 different up-to-date browsers from 2 different laptops and also my iphone but failed. Everything runs normally when I checked my status using your provided link. I have also cleared my browser's cache. I have never had problem with hotmail before, this is the first time! Please help.

I can receive pictures sent from text messaging on my LG Octane phone but not text messages sent directly or forwarded; i can do both to my sbcglobal account but only pictures to live.com account. please advise.

Hi,

I have issue on receiving email from hotmail.com, outlook.com  or msn for my company domain.
This issue has been happening for quite some time and still not able to resolved.
I was able to receive the email from gmail, yahoo or any other web email except Outlook.com or hotmail.com.

Below is the error message I receive.

Diagnostic-Code: smtp;553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.5.3 - chkuser)

It seems from the error message, your side has blocked my company domain. Are you able to whitelist the domain?

Still warning “need to prove ownership” after trying all solutions posted

I have been having this issues for a couple of weeks with the "Need to prove ownership" warning in the admin center. DNS is configured correctly as I am receiving email. I have tried a new DNS server with no change. I even tried canceling and then setting it up again. This produced a 2nd problem as a member account that I created before canceling does not show up in the admin center but does receive email.

Can’t send new emails

My Outlook is suddenly not letting me write a new email or reply to emails. When I choose the 'new' or 'reply' options (whether I'm in the Inbox or another folder), it seems to just refresh the folder and not do anything else. What can I do?
