For the past few days whenever I've been logging in to my account it asks me to verify my phone number by letting Outlook send it a code via text. Every time I try the text is never received by my phone. Thinking it could be my carrier, I double check
with my other outlook account and it receives the text code just fine. I made sure it was the right phone number and country but it still isn't sending the code and today is the last day I can skip :/
Starting on August 15 I was unable to send emails using Windows Live Mail ( Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308). I can receive emails and the emails to be sent are in the "Sent Items" folder. I can send and receive when using the mail server on the web.
When I went to another WiFi location I could send and receive emails using Windows Live email. Sometimes when I try to send I get a message from Windows Live Mail "The spell check on this document was halted. Do you want to send anyway". I have tried changing
the Outgoing mail smtp from 25 to 587 with no effect. This problem occurs on two separate laptops. I have spoken to my ISP provider who says it is not there problem.

so i think this is strange and leave it for a day i come back the next day same thing so i try to log in through the normal log in and it says enter you password as it does somtimes when logging in through the bookmark and i enter my password and it says this password is wrong.
i am not sure weather im entering the wrong password or not but i try to reset the password and i enter what i can on the reset password but as precations of this esact thing i used mostly fake details as if somone like this insodent hacks in they dont have any personal info wich is a smart idea as it has just happend, but i enter what i can remember and first time it said not enouth info so i tryed again and i got an email saying enouth info we will reveiw it then got another saying you password wont be reset. i have some info of what should be in my email and there isnt that much in there valuble but there are a few things such as paypal but i can give you some info on what is in my inbox to give you some more info that i am the owner:
there should be an email about the i49 or insomnia gaming festival
and account for twitch tv with the username jamster338
and account for paypal with the username jamster338
a minecraft account with the username jamster338
i am quite sure that that info wont be too helpfull but i feel that any info i can give will help my recovery rquest was 98624567 and i have sent another but have not recived the email about
but at the very leave i would like the account closed as then nothing bad can happen from this or stleast logged out so i can create a new one as it tryes to log me inas i am on an ip it recognises so i cannot create a new

My partner has forgotten his hotmail/outlook password & doesn't know the answers to any of the secret answers! We are able to access his hotmail through his iPhone & iPad as they're still logged in - but it's such an inconvenience!

I signed for a 2nd email account which I have never used. It's a "hotmail" acct. Tried to use it today since it has no personal info in it; however, seems not active ??? How to access it? Do I need to start over with a new name? If so, how?

I got a domain email, i want to know how to ues the outlook client.
I have two accounts, one hotmail and one outlook.com. The outlook.com address is my primary email and the hotmail account has been my main account for windows phone. I'd love to be able to merge these and get rid of the hotmail account but I've been told
that it's not possible. The account linking option was a good workaround which made it very easy to switch between the two but Microsoft decided to kill that very useful feature.
Now I'm told that setting up aliases will be helpful except for one problem. When I try to enter the alias it says the account is already taken. Yes, it is BY ME!! This really is starting to seem like someones bad joke. Can anyone tell me what I'm suppose to do??

Yesterday , I opened my laptop and tried to logged in my Hotmail account which i have been using for years. FYI, this account is always logged in on my HTC. After entering my user name & password I was taken to another page and asked to enter my password again. Then it showed me that my security code will be sent to my alternate email address which I did receive in no time and using that code was able to log into my primary account. Please let me know if it was a spam and account is compromised though I have not noticed any abnormal activity since then.
