Outlook not recieving e-mail and melbourne IT

I received this response from Melbourne IT on the problem many of us are having with not receiving e-mail

I've spent a few hours digging around and worked out what the problem is. The issue is that the servers you were running on (ns3.registerfree.com & ns4.registerfree.com) seem to have become unresponsive and I think they have been decomissioned. From what I have been able to find out, these were used in a promotion involving Office live in 2008. It would appear that they have decided that anyone using those servers back then would have moved to the modern version since then and turned them off.

In my opinion the best solution for you is to activate the native DNS management tools in your account and use those instead. To do this, please follow the steps below:

1. Log in and select "manage domain names"

2. Double click on the domain and select "activate DNS". You need to also allow it to redelegate to the native nameservers - ns1.secure.net and ns2.secure.net

3. Allow a few minutes for the tools to activate, then enter the information provided by outlook.com in the MX record field. If you do not have this on file, you may need to contact them to request that they re-send it.

 

SO my  question is what needs to be entered in the MX record field for Outlook.com? Can you re-send it?

Reactivating old email acc

Skydrive folder cannot be found on Mountain Lion 10.8.5

Hi there,

I am using mountain lion 10.8.5. I have my Skydrive folder on my desktop where it has always been. It used to sync with my Skydrive app but now everytime I try to open the app, it quits itself within seconds and a very fleeting msg appears that it was unable to find my Skydrive Folder and that I should restart, then it disappears. I have uninstalled and downloaded the latest Skydrive app for Mac but the same thing happens. Can anyone help please?

Strange Occurrence in Microsoft Accounts

Hello everyone,


I have discovered something very strange in setting up two Microsoft accounts. It is as follows:


I have two Microsoft Outlook accounts or Microsoft accounts - *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I setup my Windows 8.1 pc with *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and the mail app was able to sync with the webmail and all was fine. I decided to setup *** Email address is removed for privacy *** as my other email account and thus tried to set it up through the mail app but it refused to do so 100 out of 100 times. It said "We are unable to find settings for *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Please provide additional info and we'll try connecting again." It never worked anyway.


So I tried setting up another user account on my pc with *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and it worked perfectly well in that new user account. Now, here I tried to setup *** Email address is removed for privacy *** as my other email account in the mail app and it gave the same error in this account. "We are unable to find settings for *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Please provide additional info and we'll try connecting again."


How is it that each of these user accounts could be setup as separate user accounts but not as just another email address? This absolutely baffles my mind. Does this mean that we can setup only one Microsoft account/email account on one Windows 8.1 pc? That obviously doesn't make any sense. If someone can give me an answer, I would be very grateful to that person.

holla, desde asse poco no se puede aceder a hotmail.com. vale. dice que algunos esta utilisando nuestro correo, et que se bloqueo. nos pregunta algunas cosa parra restablecer la normalidade, cosa que no se puede acer , nos pide unas cuenta a orange et no se que mas. vale. et sabido que hotmail va a cerrar, et passar a outlook. vale, lo et echo, mais el problema seria mi question , que no et podido pasar mis correo antiguo et mis contacto a outlook.com. por favor si alguien sabe commo se ace, et mirado en moucho sitio , mais nos dice que tenemos que ir a hotmail et passar todo los contacto a outlook. el problema es que no se puede acceder a hotmail.com, por lo meno yo. commo se asse por favor que tenia mouchos message et correo antiguo que nessecito recuperar. entre parentesi la informatiqua se pone muy conplicada cada dias mas. primero desde messenger que iva bien , ayora a outlook , espero que tenemos una solucion para esto . gracias parra la respuesta estoye en *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

inappropriate Language

Hi my domain name findmethemoneyllc.com is saying it has inappropriate language. This site is an accounting and tax preparation website.

Can you please escalate this issue so that I can create email addresses @findmethemoneyllc.com as this site does not have inappropriate language or content.

why is it that when I go into my email account it closes down internet explorer, and have to keep trying to recover web page, its been like this for weeks.
