Hotmail account not syncing right on Office 2013 Outlook on WIndows 8

My hotmail account is working fine on Outlook 2010.  When I use it on Outlook 2013, I am not getting most of my emails in folders and keeps going offline.  My server default is bay-m.hotmail.com.  My husbands hotmail account on server blu-m.hotmail.com works fine on the same computer.  Also the new WIndows 8 mail app is not pulling on all of my emails.  Is there an issue with server bay-m.hotmail.com.  Again it works fine in Office 2010 and my iphone.

 

I have tried deleting the profile and starting a new.  As this is a new computer, I have restored it and started over.  I have tried to change the server and it keeps changing back.  I believe this is specific to my account or server.  Please help!  I would to use Outlook 2010 jus tto solve this problem.

All my hotmail.com email addresses are having issues. i haven't been able to receive emails since at least Nov. 1.  Are there any known issues? 

Outlook.com send and receive issues for the last few days

Hi,

I am supporting a longtime hotmail user who is having trouble with his hotmail account.

He reports problems both in sending and receiving mail.

He often uses browser to view email via outlook.com on a browser, but he also uses ipad and iphone as well as both Mac and Windows computers.
Issues seems to exist on all platforms.

I have been testing using Chrome 30 on a Windows 7 computer.

His account shows only one received  email since Nov 2.  I have sent messages that are not showing in his inbox or junkmail.  My server reports successful delivery to his email server.

I have used webmail interface to send outbound mail.  When I click send I get a message at the top saying "Sorry, Outlook wasn't able to complete this request."  When I click on inbox or other folder to change view I get a warning notice saying I am leaving the page without my message being sent.

The sent messages are actually received at the other end, however they are not showing in the sent folder.

For trouble shooting I have tried:
clearing browser cache 
moving 228 of 9975 messages in the sent folder to another folder

Testing after each of these has resulted in the same behavior.

I have my resume stored on skydrive.  I pulled it up so that I could update it.  I cannot update my address or phone number.  Please help.  I have tried everything.  I really need to get this done.  Thank You.

Issues receiving emails

I have noticed the following message at the bottom of my login page for a while-
Your messages are in your POP folder! Some other program is set to download and delete your messages from Outlook. Just in case this was an accident, we've put them in a special POP folder.
Now I have been having issues with receiving some emails.  I will receive an email one day from someone and then next day I never receive the response when they send it.  Not sure if this is related to the error message or not but I use this email account for my business and this issue has already caused me to lose a job.  

Any help would be great or I am going to have to change email providers.  Thanks!   


email and iphone syncing

When I open and read emails on my iPhone they still show as "unread" in my live account on the computer. How can I link them up so they show as read or unread together.

 

Also, I have created folders on my account on the computer but they do not show up on my phone.

Outlook is not working

My outlook is not working.

To get in I have to try a couple of times and then I get in. I can send emails, but Outlook is not receiving emails for me.

I uploaded my emails from Outlook Express. The upload did not end succesfully. Same result when I tried again.

I can see my uploaded emails though, in Outlook.

I am using Outlook for the email account of my own provider (xs4all). It is a POP3 account.
