SkyDrive isn’t working properly in Windows 8.1

Hi there,

I recently upgraded my Windows 8 machine to Win 8.1, and though the upgrade went smooth but I can't open the SkyDrive anymore ... as when I click on the SkyDrive Tile in the Start Screen, it says "This location can't be found. Please try again later."

The funny thing is that some of the pics I have in the SkyDrive (which gets uploaded from my Windows phone) do appear in the Live Pictures Tile on Start Screen in Windows 8.1, however when I click on Pictures Tile, it also shows me the same error message "This location can't be found. Please try again later."

Also, when I click on SkyDrive in the PC settings, then I can see that it shows correct usage of SkyDrive space, implying it is connected to the SkyDrive and there isn't any sign in problem at least ... however when I click on "See my files on SkyDrive" it shows me same error message, i.e., "This location can't be found. Please try again later."

Can someone help me how to get the SKyDrive running properly with my Windows 8.1, as it is really annoying.

Stuck on ‘Pending Changes’

Hi I am trying to setup a custom domain - luckydevilbrewery.com - I updated the MX record and TXT file per your instructions.
Last week it went from 'waiting for dns configuration' to 'pending changes.' It is still there.
Earlier today I updated the CNAME to point to mail.domain per your instructions.

Can you verify my settings and let me know what is left to do? I would like to start adding new emails for that domain soon.

Created a child account accidently

I created a second account to use for business and even when I tried to use my personal account as the parent and paid my $.50 I couldn't get into the child account to change the DOB. Everytime I am asked for the CC information which I have entered I get the message that there is a problem with the server and to please try again later. I"m still charged the .50. After trying this six times over the course of several weeks. I gave up.

The second account I set up is so obviously not a child (fieldsupportmanager@****) that it is absolutely shameful of MS that they can't allow my adult account to fix it. I am totally and completely disgusted with Microsoft and I've been a user of MS products since DOS 1.0. Now, when I use them it's because I must but I do not use them when there is a viable option. I'm sure they don't give a sh** but I do make sure to bad-mouth them every chance I get and to direct others away from them.

Recovering deleted emails

Hello, I was wondering if there any way to recover all of my deleted emails? Well not all of them, I need ones I got from June 2013 until August 2013? Are administrators allowed to recover them if they stayed saved on one of your servers? Thank you.

Is Skydrive down? I can’t open any of the files on any of the browsers

Hi,

When I try to open ANY of my files on Skydrive on the Web, it either 1)never loads or 2)"The service is not available" or 3)"Sorry we can't open this presentation because we ran into a problem. Please try again."

I have tried on chrome and firefox. Everything was working yesterday and no settings have been touched.

Is Skydrive down?

documents in our skydrive at work are not reflecting the changes made to them from a different computer in a different office.  How do I make sure that all devices connected to our shared skydrive folder are able to see the updated information changes??

Some of my hotmail contacts are gone and I want them back

Some of my hotmail contacts are gone after hotmail became outlook, and I want them back. I see this issue from alot of hotmail users and I have already tried all the filters, browsers, other computers, and all other fixes that don't work. I did not delete any contacts, so I can not restore deleted contacts. My missing contacts are on your severs somewhere, so please put them back where they belong. Tell me am I going to get my contacts back or are they gone forever?

Cannot Edit Any Files

If I try to access Skydrive from any other computer I can see my files but cannot edit any of them. It says Service is Unavailable but Skydrive website says it is working normally.

 

Who do I contavt for help??
