Ad-free Outlook??

Hi everyone.

 

I do not understand the meaning of ad-free outlook. I have never seen any ads in any of my outlook accounts since the day I created them a year ago, and even in the ones I upgraded from Hotmail to Outlook. I always thought it was meant to be ad-free by default. Could someone please explain?

Hi, it was said that google and yahoo quited PR China, does gmail and ymail can still be received by Chinese? How about hotmail(outlook mail)?

Mailbox is almost full

I keep getting a message saying that my mailbox is almost full. It states that I have used 1671mb of 2000mb. I thought that 5000mb was the storage amount for a free account. I do not have many e-mails in my inbox.

 

Are calendar items and contacts included in the storage amount?

audio video out of sync in movie maker

Hello, I am having issues with my audio/video from my in computer laptop.  I am trying to make short videos using the pre installed movie maker (I have a gateway laptop with windows 8, purchased in April 2013).  I can record the video I want using the camera and it seems fine.  when I put it into the movie maker program the sound slows down and becomes out of sync with the video.  This happens even if I don't make any changes to the video.  When the video section starts the sound is okay, but the longer it runs the more the sound becomes out of sync.  how can I fix this?

Hello there,

I had been a hotmail.com user for years but had stopped using it around 2003 and then recently remembered about my Hotmail account and that it had a lot of my personal emails that I'd love to re-read. After rummaging through my old notes to find the password, I successfully logged in and to my horror found that ALL those emails where missing.

My guess is Microsoft team has some sort of archiving feature to empty old/inactive mail accounts, specially after the whole Hotmail thing has been rebranded as Outlook.com (it looks very hip and fresh I may add). Is there a way I can get those precious emails back?

Please help and thanks for any help I may get.

I know this is a bit of a stretch but all my emails from before 8/9/2011 are gone. My birthday it so happens to be. I know that i definitely didnt delete them because i never would and they are not in my deleted folder. I have some email that are really important to me from way back and i was wondering if there was anyway to get them back. 

I know that its probably not possible given that they might have been deleted a while ago and i just never noticed seeing as i dont read them everyday but they do hold some fond memories and i would love to have them back. Please let me know if it is possible.

add anniversary to calender in outlook.com

I am able to add a birthday to the calender. Not able to add an anniversary. I can only see, events, task, birthdays and calender under new.
Also not able to delete a calendar I created by mistake.

I can open your reply but can not find the "Private Message area" nor the link "You have a private reply to this message".

Please help as I do not understand the ref "you need to be signed in to the Microsoft Community to view the link" as I have opened my question 9344414660810 in the Community file and can view the question but still no link to click on.

I'm unable to sign in to my hotmail account. I have tried many times as possible signing in to my account but it didn't work so, I tried resetting my password through the security question and it comes as my answer is wrong. I don't know what to do. please help me.
