I use Win 8.1, and it automatically created a folder on Skydrive since I selected to automatically sync my photos. Now the problem is that although all my systems are in English, all the region settings is US, all the devices are bought in US, and live in English country (so the IP is in English region as well), etc., the automatically created folder on Skydrive is in Chinese. It should be "Pictures\Camera Roll" but instead, it's "图片\本机照片".
It was at least 5 years ago that I used Skydrive on a Chinese system. After that, I never use Skydrive on any Chinese systems. I can manually rename the folder, but I'm really curious that how I can change this hidden setting of Skydrive default language. My Microsoft account's region is US, all the local folder, including "Pictures\Camera Roll" is in English, so the only possible reason is that there is a hidden language setting that isn't related to your system language, region setting, Microsoft account setting and IP address. Where is it? How to change it?
A couple of hours ago I did a routine maintenance of my password in https://account.live.com. The password was accepted OK and I can login with it into my windows 8.1 and www.outlook.com
However, when I open my desktop outlook 2013, a window pops up requesting my new password... which it does not accept! so I am locked out of Outlook 2013!!! By the way I have the same problem with my iPhone / ipad Outlook accounts - the new password is not accepted!!!
Please help as it is urgent!
Each time I open my Hotmail/outlook account, I am unable to read my emails until I have signed in.
Even though I tick the box "Remember me".
What can I do to be logged in automatically?
I'm an Outlook Insider and I'm trying to configure a client to move from @pacbell.net email to outlook.
An essential part of this is getting the email to import via POP3 (not forward, do not suggest it).
However the email will not import. Always I am told that " We couldn't sign in to your POP3 server. Please make sure your username and password are correct. "
However I am using 100% exactly the same settings on Thunderbird and it is connected just fine!
How can I force Outlook to connect with this account?
I'm using these settings:
| pacbell.net | inbound.att.net / 995 | outbound.att.net / 465 | *** Email address is removed for privacy *** | POP3 |
|---|
Any suggestions?
