I believe this was possible in Live or Hotmail.
Have not been able how to set up in the New Outlook.
If I do not do this, my inbox will keep getting full, preventing me from receiving new e-mails.
I cannot access e-mails, deleted, forward, junk contacts on Outlook nor can I send or forward e-mails. New e-mails are shown but I can't open them or those already read.
This problem started a few days ago. I changed my password and did a complete scan on Microsoft Security Essentials This did not help..
I cannot be notified by e-mail since it is not working.
I am trying to help a friend out who forgot his password, this is getting frustrating. The acct is locked out. I did manage yesterday to get a reset sent to my email, when I went to it and changed it, then it when back into my acct and not there's.
I have all the correct information so I tried re-setting again, now they needed more information, so I got more information.
Then I get a message saying server problems, try again. Now I try again and it says "You've reached the limit for account recovery requests" Now because of there server problems I have to wait 24 hours. I know it is all about security, but there should be something else I can do?
I would appreciate any help "other than wait the 24 hours".
Is it possible to call them.
Since the account is locked out, there is no way to try the new password. That I thought I put in yesterday.
Thanks Bruce
Two days ago my emails started acting up. Anytime I send anything it bounces back and says it's delayed. It says the status is 4.4.7
I can receive emails but the emails I send are not going through.
Help!
I can't get access to view or send emails, after I get into my account. The activating lights keep scrolling across the top, but the email does not open. Nor can I respond, create or send new.
I have 3 email addresses, 2 Outlook addresses and 1 Gmail.
We'll call them: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, and *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.
*** Email address is removed for privacy *** keeps getting Birthday reminders. When I click the link to Stop getting Reminders, it brings me to the Microsoft Account login screen.
Neither *** Email address is removed for privacy *** or *** Email address is removed for privacy *** even have *** Email address is removed for privacy *** listed as a notification email! Furthermore, both Outlook accounts say very clearly, "Notifications have been turned OFF".
Every single setting I see does not list my *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account and says I am not receiving notifications, but trust me...my *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account gets emails every single day from Microsoft, notifying me about my contacts' birthdays.
STOOOOOOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How can I get this to stop?
