Skype problems

A few days ago I bought a Microsoft surface , the product is amazing overall but my Skype has been playing up . I try to call one of my friends and it keeps ringing but never gets to them. They ring me and I press the answer button and it automatically ends the call . I thought it might have been my Wi-Fi playing up but I tried Skype at other peoples houses and it did the exact same thing , I was wondering if it was my tablet playing up, or my Skype or even my Wi-Fi.

windows store should have applications like wechat, whatsapp and other social services available. its like a monotony to use only windows messenger. many of my friends are not having windows phone, or ms should develop an app like wechat or whatsapp which could be available to any phone so that communication become easier through voice msgs and video sms.. many people dont have a mobile with front camera or 3g support yet. so
either windows store should have these updated apps or ms should create a user friendly social app.

Why is it taking over 8 hours for Windows Essentials to perform a Full Scan on my computer with Windows XP?

I am unable to uninstall Microsoft Essentials from my laptop.  I run Windows XP.  I kept getting the same error message:  Error Code: Ox8007064A

microsoft essentials 64 bit instead of 32 bit

I get a message that I am using the 32 bit essentials on a 64 bit machine and need to change. I can't find anything that says to download pertaining to a 64 bit essentials . Help.
