How would I transfer contacts from messenger to skype?

My email has been with Microsoft Messenger outlook  .  At the top of the email page it said outlook.  Yesterday I was no longer able to get my email.  I have a Mac computer with windows 8 downloaded on it.  I talked to both Microsoft 3 times and Mac 2 times along with Century Link 2 time today trying to download Skype for a Mac.  I did get it downloaded after 3 hrs. of talking to all of these people.  Is there some way all contacts on my contact list using messenger would now be on skype?  If not how could I get them to transfer

Hello Microsoft Community,

I'm writting because today I was talking to my girlfriend and she said she didn't save the conversation we had when we started dating...

I wonder if Microsoft stores a record of all the conversations on MSN and if I could have access to it... I would like to do a surprise to her...

What do you say? Any help here?

MSN Messagent reposts status updates to Facebook

I've connected my FB and LinkedIn account to MS account to be able to use them on my Windows Phone

On my desktop PC I'm using Miranda to connect to MSN Messenger. Miranda has an option to automatically update Messenger status when I'm away or back to a keyboard.

Everything works well in this setup, but after I connected FB & LI account, the status updates from MSN Messenger get translated to FB and LI status updates.
By translated I mean that my status updates from MSN Messagent gets automatically transferred to FB status updates by MS account.

 

How can I disable or avoid this translation?

Temporarily I've disconnected my FB and LI accounts, but thats not a solution.

Messenger has updated to Skype for Windows desktop so the Messenger forum on Microsoft Community will be retired.

 

The Messenger forum is scheduled to retire on July 17, 2013 (Pacific Time).

Hi All,

I have got a problem with Windows Phone 8 messenger services. I could sign in and see all the online friends and even i could chat. But the problem is that, i was not getting the replies they give for the chat. I have linked my facebook chat with the messenger service, only after a break i'm able to see the replies that they have sent.
