So last week I upgraded to Windows 10 and Live Mail 2012 after using Live Mail 2011 on Vista.
Got all of my email (POP3) migrated and organized again, but I'm having issues with the HTML email signature.
When I start a new email and it adds my signature, the picture is blown up to 400 pixels and is formatted with a dark background behind my round .png picture. Obviously this makes my signature look pretty rotten.
The HTML file displays fine in a browser, so I know it's not a code error. And it worked perfectly fine in WLM 2011 on my old computer. It's written to have no background behind the picture and it's supposed to be 80x80 pixels. It's like Live Mail
I can manually format the image to get it where I want it, but it's not practical to do this every single time I write an email. It appears like the picture formatting is over-riding the properties set by the HTML file. Anyone know why this is or what I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance.

I have updated my Windows Live Mail as instructed. However, every incoming email now bears the "Unknown sender" flag even though the person is in my contact list and I have configured WLM to allow senders in my contact list. No matter how many times I click "allow sender", the next time an email comes in from that person the "Unknown sender" appears.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I have two Hotmail account linked to WLM. With onlz one of those i have some problem. I can't receive or send email:

Windows Live 2012 stopped receiving emails. I can still send but not receive. I have repaired in control panel. I have removed my account within and rebuild using wizard to populate server URL: https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/sync.aspx. I still do not receive any error messages when syncing. Windows updates were the only new changes lately that I am aware of. I do have AV which I cannot control settings (System Center Endpoint Protection).

How do we get an app password for WLM 2011 on Windows 8.1 operating system?
We have looked everywhere on the Microsoft account interface for the ability to get an app password, and it is nowhere to be found. Manage permissions does not work, security info has nothing.
What is going on?
Was wondering what is the latest version of WLM and if Microsoft plans to keep it updated?

I aggregate three email addresses into my Windows Live app on my home computer. For some reason the Hotmail server stopped forwarding sent or received emails to my home computer on one of these accounts. The server setting is http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/sync.aspx
I am able to send and receive email if I log into my Hotmail account using my browser.
