Windows Live mail essentials

I just downloaded Windows Essentials and started using Live mail. Received a good email from a gmail account that went to quick view but not to the email account I had set up ? Can I get some help on resolving this problem and/or is it related to gmail?

 

 

two hotmail accounts

I have two Hotmail accounts which I have used for several years. Yesterday I found that I could access only one of those accounts.

Even if I select "Sign in with a different account" MS takes me back to the one I do not want to read.

account was hacked, try different way still can’t log in.

This is my friend's account.

She tried many method (phone number, reset password option and etc )to get back her account but failed. It is because her phone number that she registered before was determined. Please reset password for her and send link to  this account. *** Email address is removed for privacy *** or this phone number +60126499866.
She was sad because this email account is important for her. We hope can hear good news from you as soon as  possible. THANK YOU.

I can insert neither pictures nor documents.  States that a problem was detected and must close down. Please help.

Need to shut down an account set up by a hacker

Hi,
I use Yahoo as my primary email account. That account was hacked just long enough for someone to take my contact list. Yahoo then shut them down and I changed my password and haven't had a problem. BUT since then, many of my contacts have said that someone contacted them from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** pretending to me, asking them for help. It seems the hacker set up that account and is emailing my contacts. The hacker even emailed me last night at my yahoo account as part of their mass emailing.

I would like to shut down the *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account to stop them. I tried doing this over the phone with Microsoft and they said I had to come on here and post a question to get help. I did not have an account, so now I've had to set one up just to try to get this resolved. Please advise.

Note: I have tried to "change the password" for the *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account but as part of that process, I'm asked what were recent passwords, what is my financial information, and what were folders I had created. Since I know none of that information, I could not proceed. I also could not have a password reset texted to me because my phone number is not the one associated with the account since the hacker set it up.

Cannot receive incoming e-mails

For the last few days, I am able to send the messages, but do not receive any incoming e-mails. 

I have send several incoming & outgoing test messages, but I do not get them in my inbox.
  

Export emal from Outlook Express/Import to Windows Live Mail

I am trying to move my email from an old desktop, running Windows XP, to a laptop, running Windows 7.  I  exported the email from Outlook Express and confirmed that a .dbx file was created for each folder in Outlook Express.   I loaded Window Live Mail onto the laptop but when I try to import the email into Windows Live Mail, many of the folders do not get imported and so much of my email is missing.   

unknown symbol in Password box on email sign in

Hi,

When I go to sign in to my Hotmail account, as I start to enter my password in the password box/ field on the sign in page, a symbol appears on the right hand side of the box. If I've entered some characters of my password and I click on this symbol (which is similar to a paw mark) the characters entered become visible instead of just being bold black dots.


What is this symbol? is it supposed to be there and do this? Or has someone hacked my computer or connection and getting access to my password?


Hope someone can let me know, as I'm a bit worried about this. I'm sure the symbol didn't used to be there.

Folders empty

For reasons unexplained today all my folders are displaying empty.....everything gone.  HELP
