I am facing a problem with synchronizing my emails on WLM, and removing and re-adding my email account isn't an option to me as some of the emails accounts i have on WLM contain thousands of emails for record keeping, and therefore i can't take the chance of
performing a deletion of any of my affected accounts, then re-adding them again, waiting for all emails to be downloaded, then face the same problem yet again.
Please HELP!!!!
this is what i get for my email accounts when trying to synchronize them on WLM:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Hussein Abdallah account.

In box only shows unread msgs. I would like both read and unread msgs to appear.
I signed up for my hotmail account back in 1995/96 when none of the new security measures were in place. The email that is currently assigned is an old email that no longer exists and everything in the account is old. I've tried a number of my old passwords
and it has locked the account. I've already tried to fill out the form that is automated and tries to identify you based on the info you give. All 3 times it tells me it can't determine if it is my account. It's been so long that I've forgotten a lot of information, but have old emails in my new account as reference
that it is indeed my email.

We bought a shiny new Xbox 360 for Christmas, but have been unable to play anything because the profile won't login. After my 2.5 hour chat with Xbox support on Christmas day, and then my hour long call to Xbox support a day later, I was advised this is an issue with the Live account.
I have successfully reset the password on the account, answered the security questions, generated multiple codes to my cell phone, and filled out the form to unlock the account online (twice). The most recent email from Xbox support directed me to this forum - I'll assume the irony of being sent to a forum that requires a login to troubleshoot login issues was overlooked by Xbox support.
Obviously, I've logged into an alternate account to post this plea. I won't publish any details of the account here, but I would like to be contacted for further assistance. After making a continued investment into Microsoft products, I would like to opportunity for my kids to play their new games.

When forwarding a message to several recipients or sending a new mail to several contacts, why can't I use my " favorite contacts" instead of the default contacts list?
The basic folders are there, the extra ones I made are gone as are ALL the emails I had in ALL of my Live mail folders !
I also have an email account with another server in my live mail and it is redownloading all email from Sept. of this year but at least IT'S working.
Is there anyway to get the live mail emails that are now gone back ?
I looked over system restore info, seems it
will not fix the problem.
Have windows 7 home premium service pack 1.
This seemed to happen after I saw a window appear that said " recovering the windows live mail database"
I also did a scan disk last night and it took care of 1 framented file or whatever, maybe my live mail was the fragmented file?
I just don't know and am somewhat computer inept so if anyone can help me and keep it as simple as possible I would greatly appreciate it.
Hope this is not bad reposting this, had put the above info. in email and communications here but getting no response. Then I saw where someone told someone else to post their live mail issues here.

What am I doing wrong here. Ever since I downloaded the MSE and started scanning my computer it's always been slow. Here lately it's been taking like Nine hours. I know It's scanning a lot of files but it shouldn't take nine hours for a 280G HDrive. I
think this is just crazy way too long. How can I improve it or should I just go with a different product???
I logged in for the first time since live.com changed into outlook.com and all my emails were missing and I have a lot of important emails missing now. What do I need to do to get those missing emails back?
Is Microsoft going to take full responsibility if I'm unable to recover certain emails?

I'm a real novice on this so bear with me.
Now when I send an email out, the recipient receives the message stating from "me" my full name, first and last. At times, I do not want my last name shown. I can't figure out how to change it. My profile says my alias is my email address - which is fine. But I do not want my full name shown as sender. Can you help? Claudia
So I have an hotmail account, which I am logged in on my iPhone.
Got an ipad for Christmas and forgot my password the phone number connected to my account is an old number. So can't get access to my password is there another way of gaining this??
