I am facing problem with Windows Live Mail when closing it infrequently -
The below window appears for few seconds:
Recovering unused Disk space and then Error appears - Application is in use
Kindly provide us a solution to sort the same.

My son got and Xbox for Christmas so of course I need to set up a Xbox live account. Should be no problem because he already has a child's email account with Hotmail.
However, while family safety is actively monitoring his laptop under his Hotmail address his email is not working. I can not log him into Hotmail under his email address. Its like his email has been turned off or something. If that has happened I cant find the way to turn it back on. I need to get that email working so that I can get his Xbox live account up and running.
Please help!

More and more of my incoming emails are in a font that isn't readable. It's not the font that I have designated for incoming mail (I've checked) and I've also run the repair through "Wlarp" without results.
I updated to Windows 8.1 recently which is when this problem first started to happen. ANYONE, PLEASE?

I got my account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** stolen by someone and i cant get it by awnsering my secret question and the other questionary ( i moved place many times since then ) i always had the same password for years
reason is simple i made this account when i had 10-14 years old and i am 20 today i just cant remember what they ask me .
i have around 11 000 message on this email ( game and facebook notification ) but few messages are important . i am using hotmail to save my files ( im sending stuff to myself )
I really need it back . i already messaged an admin and he told me to come here. i really dont know what to do thanks

I have been having this problem (along with others) since I performed Microsoft Updates.
Live mail has worked Flawlessly for 2 years UNTILL NOW.
Windows Live Mail will not open with 0x80041161 error. Now remember, Windows Live Mail WILL NOT OPEN.
Reading through forums here, have performed some of the suggestions.
Have performed following:
Removed/installed/repaired Windows Live Mail REPEATEDLY
Performed "wlarp"
Checked/re-entered 'services' "Automatic"
Changed suggested Internet Explorer "SSL" and "Certificate Revocation"
Any NEW help would be appreciated.
Running Windows 7 Professional, 64 Bit, all current updates

My Windows Live Mail is not downloading emails and I am unable to find the Ask a Question box.
Just what is msft up to again?

I continue to have same issues for well over a month and cannot seem to get a solution from any source.
I Have a Windows 7 system and AT&T is my ISP. WLM is for my email. Emails are showing on my screen, but without warning they totally disappear.
Cannot find them anywhere, not deleted or any other mailbox or folder. Again this morning, lost 4 or 5 unread messages and it happened so quickly, I have no idea where the emails came from.
If I do try to delete an email, one or more unselected emails might also be deleted at the same time.
Everytime I send a message, WLM stops working and has to restart itself - which it generally does.
Emails sit undelivered in my outbox and I cannot open them or do anything to salvage them. Yet I will see a message that I have unsent emails and do
I want to send them.
I have been at this site numerous times with this same issue and have done everything suggested. I have uninstalled/reinstalled more times than I can recall and nothing is fixing this problem. Is this Microsoft's way of trying to force me away from WLM and into one of its other programs? If so, I wish someone would so advise so I can stop wasting time and getting so frustrated with the WLM program.
I have no other computer/mouse/internet problems - just the same complaints about this Microsoft program that is not performing properly.
I am not a techie and need plain, simple directions. Computerese not spoken here.
