Question about Outlook Express

This just started happening this morning. It gives me a error message: "A problem occurred while trying to open this message." when I try to start a new email. I have looked at my server and advanced settings for outgoing emails. I am using port 587. Last night I tried to send a mail with some pictures attached and it went into my outbox and then it said I couldnt send it. This morning I just deleted it from outbox (I thought) and the problem started. Its like its still in outbox but there is nothing there! I have done a restart and still no way too send emails.

I am using SHAW.CA as my server email.  Running Windows 7 and Live Mail. Please help!?

Original Title: M delete button is not working in WLM 2012 specifically for Hotmail.

My Gmail accounts in WLM 2012 works perfectly. Just my Hotmail (Outlook.com - not updated) although it syncs - doesn't allow me to delete with the delete button or the right click delete option. I have to manually move it to the deleted folder.

I followed Firedog's suggestion of removing the "deleted items" folder from Outlook.com. It did indeed remove it, however now there isn't a deleted folder in Live Mail. There is a Deleted Items in the Storage Folders section. Please let me know what I can do!

I do have a huge amount of emails in Outlook. 13k and counting. Does this have something to do with it?

I am using Windows Live Email 2012 and now when i sent emails they are not showing on the sent folder. I know the emails are delivered as the recepients have confirmed they got it and they are also showing on my windows 8.1 phone hotmail sent folder.

i use windows live mail 2012 with IMAP, and OS windows 7

what i want to ask is..

1. necessarily, when we reply/forward a message from inbox, the reply/forward mark will appear in that message.

lately, i just realize not all my message have reply/forwards mark.

how to all my message can have reply / forwards mark permanently?

2. i am using IMAP as my incoming server.

sometimes when there is incoming email, not all my computer are getting the email.

example : my customer has sent me a message, in computer A, B, C, F, K, L has it, but in computer D, E ,G hasn't.

sometimes what we have to do is, move the message to inbox folder,,and taa dahhh the message appear

why did it happen?

3. and why the emails in inbox / sent item sometimes has striketrough?

and not all the computers did.

I just recently started getting this error when using Live Mail synced with my hotmail account

Looked for solutions online and tried most of the suggestions, but most are several years old and no longer apply since the switch to Outlook.

I have not been able to send or receive email from my Windows Live Mail for 2 days now, but I can send and receive via the "backdoor" (www.webmail.cfl.rr.com). 

Can anyone help me to get my settings right???

This is about using Windows Live Mail on Windows 7.  I have 2 accounts, one o2 and the other plusnet.  If I look for incoming emails I get the same message for both accounts 'An unknown fault has occurred 'WLM Error ID 0x80004005'. The consequence is that we are not receiving new emails and can't send any either.   We are on PlusNet and they say there is nothing wrong with their system.

I have deleted WLM and then reinstalled WLM2012.  The new WLM picks up all the contacts and stored emails I had before ( without my doing anything) but still nothing works. 

I had left a v large number of emails in the inbox and thought it might be good to clear it out but this now seems to be impossible.  I cant delete anything from the inbox or anywhere else ;  that is a new problem too.

Another difference that may be relevant.  Since the problem arose, when opening WLM there is a delay while it  is 'recovering the windows live mail database'  It never did that before.

I can see on o2 webmail and plusnet webmail that new emails are arriving on both addresses but we can't now access them on WLM.

I would v much appreciate some help on this as it has me stumped.  Thanks.
