Please close my account, your link does not work and your customer server rep hung up the phone on me.
Why am I not getting the attachments that go with incoming messages?  Other recipients are getting them.  Guru at computer repair shop sent me a test attachment - got that.

I'm getting Server Error Message: 3204 windows live mail error: 0x8DE2003, with my *** Email address is removed for privacy *** email address and I was hoping you could please help me with correcting it!

I'm having a problem using send. I receive e-mails fine, and can forward them, but sending them has become a problem. Send was working fine. The only updates I've done has been my CAD program.
Hi.
I was recently told that one of my online accounts had reset my password, and had sent the new password to the email that I had connected to it. This email is an old one of mine, and when I tried to log onto it, it told me I had the wrong password. So I went through the stages of "Forgotten your password", but even when I got a code to reactivate my account sent to my current active hotmail account, it told me the code was incorrect (which it wasn't). I tried this 3 times with no luck each time. I then tried submitting a form to unlock my account, but again that failed. I have spoken to many people and been directed to different things and have now been directed here in the hope that someone will be able to help me access my account as it is imminent that I am able to access it.

The email address is: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

If anyone can help that would be much appreciated!

Thank you,
Jess

I have created a category that has 205 contacts. I add the category name to the Bcc line in new email. I understand we are to click on the plus sign to see the list of emails that it will send to. Unfortunately I can't get that to come up. The line just goes blank, what am I doing wrong? Please help. I know the category is there as it shows in my contacts list and lists all the names.

I am using Windows Live Mail under Windows 8.1 and I have 5 email accounts.

In the Live Mail Quick Views there are two very useful views which I use - namely "All Inbox" and "All sent items" - as these show all items from the 5 different accounts in one place - as their names suggest!!

"All inbox" works fine, but "All sent items" does not show all the items from the 5 different accounts. They are all there to be viewed in the "Sent items" of each account, but not all together in "All sent items".

I have read previous relevant posts and have ensured that Options is set to save all sent items. I have also compacted the database under the options for Advanced Maintenance. Both to no avail.

Can anyone provide an answer please?

I've just repopulated my address book after a laptop crash and have had to rebuild all my folders. I've just done a mailshot to my contacts and used the BCC box for each folder group that I sent to. For some messages, the BCC didn't appear, so the message just went to the main recipient (myself) and for some it went to a few of the addresses in the folder group and for others it went to all of them.

Can anyone shed some light on what's happening? It's frustrating that I can't contact my clients!

Thank you :)

I am helping a friend.  He is running Windows Live Mail with Win7.  He is trying to paste a list of e-mail address from Excel file into the bcc address field.  I am familiar with how to do it in Outlook, which is not working with Windows Live Mail.  The first error message is that commas or semi-colons are missing (Outlook adds them automatically).  He added the semi-colons manually to the Excel spread sheet (what a pain).  Now he gets an error message that some of the the addresses are not valid so the message cannot be sent.   (Note: I pasted the same list directly into Outlook and it worked just fine.)

So what are the tricks in using Windows Live Mail?
