Hi,

My name is Anton Ulyanov and I'm on the leadership team of Amnesty at Payton. Amnesty at Payton is a school club – we are a chapter of the Amnesty International organization located in Walter Payton College Prep in Chicago, Illinois.

We purchased a custom domain for our club: www.amnestyatpayton.com. When I try to set up email for our organization through Windows Live Domains, however, and I go to domains.live.com, it doesn't let me set it up because it says that I am trying to use a prohibited or protected word. We are just a school club, and have no intention of doing anything malicious or illegal. You can look at our current website at sites.google.com/site/amnestyatpayton.

I would greatly appreciate any help on this issue. Once again, we are simply trying to establish an online presence for our school club, and did not intend to use any prohibited or profane words.

Thank you,

Anton Ulyanov

Hotmail associated with  MS Livemail too risky to continue after about 15 years. .  I will find a different way and address henceforth.   Cheerio,

I just bought a new computer and transferred everything via Windows Easy Transfer.  I'd researched ahead of time, so thought knew all the issues I'd have and thought I was good.  All my OE mail supposedly transferred into storage files.  I found them and all the folders were there, albeit in a different order.  I checked several, and except for realizing I may have to reorder some, everything looked good.  Went into a sub folder this morning and found an email with the correct subject line, but displaying an incorrect email.   It was an email from another subfolder.  Started checking more emails in more sub folders.  The same misplaced email is in message after message.  What happened to my email???  After spending the entire weekend setting everything up, I am so depressed.

Password recently changed.

Windows Professional recently reinstalled.

Hardware components changed out by a professional.

Not sure how to reset Live Mail password.

Please help me i am using windows 7 32 bit.

I have been using this email with the same settings from last 12 months and no problem and now suddenly this????

First error was WLM could not be started, your calendar is forcing WLM to close (0x8E5E0147). Now message is WLM has stopped working and cannot get into it.

i have had my hotmail account forever.  Seems like Outlook took it over at some point, then Windows messed it up more by making it go through Windows Live.  I had serious problems on my last laptop--said to be due to Windows Live Essentials.

On this laptop, for waaayyyy too long, I have had to go online to get to my hotmail account, which is now either 'Microsoft". "Windows Live", or "Outlook", whichever pops up for my hotmail account.

If I;m on a website, and I want to contact them by email, it opens Windows Mail on my computer, but I don't know what the server settings are, so I have to close that, then go to one of my email accounts, like hotmail, online.  How ridiculous to have to sign in, hit new, copy and paste the persons email address into the new email that opened for me online.

I'm really sick of this.  Today, I decided it was time to devote my day to trying to fix the problem, knowing I might lose this computer too due to Microsoft problems.

I started by replicating the task: went online to a site, tried to send email, it opened windows live mail on my computer, and then asked for the server settings, which, of course, I have no idea how to get that.

Then, as usual, my computer said I need an update for Windows Essentials (or Live Essentials, Live Mail Essentials, or something like that) it said 2012, whatever it was.  I've been dreading this, fearing it will screw up my computer again, but I let it download whatever it said it needed.

Meanwhile, I go back to the online hotmail account, which comes up in Windows or Microsoft something....  and putting my password in requires a shtload of verification processes, including 2 phone calls to enter numbers, which next says they have to send an email to my other account with some code, which then forces me to change my password, WHICH THEN NEVER WORKS AGAIN, AND THE PROCESS STARTS OVER, FORCING A NEW PASSWORD OVER AND OVER.

LISTEN MICROSOFT:

I want to uninstall every stupid program associated with Essentials, and Live, and Mail, And Messenger...  I JUST WANT MY FRICKN HOTMAIL ACCOUNT ON MY COMPUTER!!  I can't figure out what help you offer, because it ends up referring to Office, which I don't have either.

I don't understand where Outlook fits into any of this, but I really don't want to lose my hotmail address.  WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET MY PASSWORD TO WORK, AND THEN GET AN EMAIL PROGRAM ON MY COMPUTER SO THAT MY DEFAULT EMAIL PROGRAM AND ADDRESS CAN OPEN AND SEND MAIL.  I NNNNEEEEEEEEDDDDD THE STUPID SERVER PASSWORD DETAILS!  WHO OR WHAT HAS THEM, AND WHERE DO I GET THEM??!

DO NOT SEND ME BACK TO THE RUNAROUND WITH CHANGING PASSWORDS AGAIN.  I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHICH ONE IS REAL ANYMORE!

I sent out 3 emails containing about a  dozen email addresses using bcc.  Those 3 are  stuck in my Out box.  One of the emails that is stuck in my Out Box--I will subsequently get an error message (Ox800CCC79)) indicating the email address that is an invalid address.  The other two emails stuck in my Out box does not give me an error message at all; they just don't send.

Questtion #1 - Am I to assume none of these email addresses listed in the emails receive it???

Question #2 - I am unable to get rid of the error message when I attempt to send it again.

Question #3 - If I retype and resend the two blanket emails that do not give me an error message, indicating a certain email address that has an invalid mailbox, how do I know which address is giving me a problem and causing the whole email not to send.

What is wrong with Windows Live Mail??  Since yesterday I've been getting the following ERROR message:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (rskapustay) account.

Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
