I created a Windows Live Mail account and it wants to download all emails from the att/yahoo server. Can I limit the number?
when trying to send a message to a group displayed in To; or CC after i press send a message comes back that i must include an address. if i select an indivigal from the group the e-mail goes to that message. Problem surfaced when installing a new hard
drive and windows 7. the contact list was inported from Googal mail;
I have been having a number of problems and don't want to reinstall and risk losing items if not necessary. I have WLM 2011. Is there a newer version? I can never find version information on Microsoft pages for downloads. Information seems to always
be on a need to not know basis. P.S. My main issue is crashes when trying to start a new email.

I am migrating from one XP machine to a new 8.1 machine. I have installed Live Mail via Essentials using my Microsoft account (administrator). Then set-up both my wife's and my email addresses as POP and it works fine within my account.
Have now set-up a local account for my wife to get into windows 8.1 .... when she opens the Windows Live Mail application there are no email accounts visible.
Question 1 - Can I set-up Live mail once with both accounts so that 2 different 8.1 users can use it or do I have to set-up each POP account in our respective 'views' of the Live Mail application.

I then need to move all the old Outlook Express emails to the new machine ........ our Outlook Express has one inbox with a mixture of messages from both our email addresses. Some is filed separately in folders but a lot isn't. I am happy about finding the OE6 databases and moving them but ....
Question 2 - If I import into Live mail on the new machine and do this under my Microsoft account (administrator) will I end up with a storage folder of old messages that only I can see ? i.e. when my wife logs in on her local account in 8.1 and opens live mail will she see the storage folder ?

Question 3 - Could I import the old OE6 data twice i.e. once from within my 8.1 account and then again from within my wife's 8.1 account ?
I am finding this migration from XP much harder than envisaged as we only ever used one PC logon before.

When I chose to reply for a message from my sent items folder in windows live mail by clicking Reply All Option, it select all concerned address including me. And I have to delet my address from the list of senders to avoid the mail to send back me. Kindly provide a solution for the problem to exclude me from all senders .

Does Live Mail in Windows7 support encryption of e-mail and if, how do I access it?
- Using Desktop PC, with Vista, and running WLM 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308)
- Also have Android phone - Samsung Galaxy S3 - which has built-in S Planner.
- If I add an entry to the WLM calendar, it syncs to the phone.
- If I add an entry to the phone, it doesn't sync with PC.
Should it? Can it? Or is it just one-way?
I carry my phone, but I can't carry my PC to meetings etc - and I don't want to duplicate the work
