I want to know what happent with live.de and live.com domeins.i need them and you are not delivering that option any more.help me with this one please.

I have read MANY posts regarding this or similar problems with Live Mail, but NONE of the administrators has posted a satisfacxtory solution. I sure hope that changes this time, as I DESPERATELY need to get my mail working again. Here are the specifics for my case:

I have used Live Mail for the past two years or more, since it came with Windows 7 (64) on my Dell i7 laptop. Prior to that I ran the full version of Outlook. Until about 9 days ago I had never had a problem with Live Mail, and NOTHING has changed, settiings-wise. I also turned off automatic updates about a month ago, since several updates refused to install (as also noted by many others), so I'm pretty sure that no updates have caused me the following problems.

About 9 days ago I tried to send a large e-mail to a large number of people, but it didn't go out. It seems to have become "stuck" in the system, along with an error message that comes up whenever I tried to send anything else. It also blocks ALL succeeding attempts to send ANY messages, so I have have been dead for 9 days. However, I was able to receive mail. Based on "support" from my email provider (AT&T), I changed all my passwords and then tried again. The end result was that I was then NOT able to even receive any mail.

Based on the MS forums, I uninstalled ALL of Live Essentials and then reinstalled it all. I then tried to open Live Mail and got the error message that wldcore.dll was missing. After following several of the recommended steps, including several uninstalls and reinstalls, I found myself in the same situation as many others: Live Mail appears in my Programs window, but it does not appear in the removal window, so it cannot be easily uninstalled.

I followed the suggestion to use MSFixIt, and noticed, as many others have, that there were several installations of the Essentials suite listed, including LiveMail, LiveMessenger, Live Writer, etc. FixIt actually worked to remove each of the applications, although it was a very long, painstaking process to use it, since it had to be closed and then restarted for each of the many apps.  and several of them appear in MSFixIt.

I have now uninstalled and reinstalled Essentials several times and also uninstalled and reinstalled just Mail several times, always having to use FixIt, since the new installs do not appear in the Remove Programs window. For each single installation they appear at least twice in FixIt, which is still a very slow way to do an uninstall...but at least it works!

Is my only possible solution to just start over by reinstalling Windows 7? If so, please let me know the best way to solve this problem. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide, but please first review some of the other posts and don't just repeat them. Thanks again.

Lynn

I have been using Windows Live Mail for several years and had numerous storage folders created within Windows Live Mail. The storage folders were labeled and any important emails I was able to transfer to the appropriate storage folder. All those storage folders recently vanished. Any ideas on what happened and  on how they can be retrieved or found?

Thanks

I have a regular email that is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.  That seems to work ok in Windows live Mail.  I also have several other email addresses that I have added to the service.  My problem is that I have an email address that is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***  It is working on my laptop, but not on my desktop.  I cannot see what the password is on my laptop as it shows only stars.  Is there a way to get that password so that I can input it in my desktop version of Windows live mail?  I am using win 7 on the laptop and win 8 on the desktop.  Help
I have replied to an email that had attachments.  I cannot see the attachments in the reply email.  Is there a way to reveal them as I have accidentally erased the original email
I have Windows 7.  Every time I try to log into Microsoft for this forum and every time I try to log in to my Outlook email, I am asked for my email address and password.  Every single time I get told it is the wrong password and then they have to send an email to my gmail account which often doesn't arrive and I have to keep asking.  When it does, often I type the code in and it doesn't work but even if it does, then they have to phone to give me another code.  When I type that in it tells me again that I don't have the right code and I have to keep going through this over and over until finally I get in.  I don't understand the reason for this or how to stop it.  Every time I try to log in I have to change my password.  Can't we use the same password for a while?  I can't even get a password to last 2 days.  It is very frustrating.  Thanks if anyone can help.

I used to be able to send group messages without any problems but suddenly when I try to send a group message it only goes to 5 members of my group.

Is this is a new thing that we are restricted to small groups or has something gone wrong with my Windows Live account ?

A recent motherboard issue has forced me to go to my laptop. fortunately my hard drive was undamaged. Now I need to move my Windows Mail contacts to my Windows Live on the laptop. I copied all of my Windows Mail files to a folder on my laptop desktop but it won't import the contacts. I'm not concerned about the e-mails - I can go to the external and read those but I need the contacts. I have a backup for my Windows Mail but that is not helping.

I am using Windows 7 on a 64 bit computer.

Suggestions please???

In my contacts I have formed a group, how do I send a message to one of the group and cc the rest
If my computer crashes, do I lose everything in storage folders in my email account?
