Every time I log in it asks me to enter it again for security purposes.  If I do it again it asks again.  This is a new development, not originally that way.   How do I get rid of it.?

Last evening, I tabbed to Windows Live Mail to check email (usually leave Live Mail open) and EVERY single email in EVERY folder spontaneously duplicated as new, unread emails in the Inbox over the following 45-60 seconds.  I immediately closed any open applications/windows and re-ran Security Essentials and Malwarebytes full scans (both apps were up-to-date and are scheduled to run daily).  Nothing found.  I've observed no other unusual activity since then.  I have only ONE email account associated with Live Mail through our ISP, Atlantic Broadband.  I checked with the ISP and they cannot offer an explanation.  Can you suggest what might have caused that activity?

I have tried to fix the error but was not able to. I would like to backup my emails and then uninstall the program. how do I do that? thanks

I updated micrsoft essentials the packed updated all but 4.5.216.0 (KB2949787) failed on April 3&4 of 2014 Microsoft update ask for help that is what I'm doing. Myupdate is yellow not green.

I had an old hotmail account about a few years back that was inactive because I simply couldn't sign in.

However, I need to retrieve this account as it is linked to a blogger account.

I still remember this hotmail account but hotmail keeps telling me it doesn't exist anymore. How do I solve this?

I really appreciate if anyone could offer some help!

My Windows Live Mail will now not open after crashing several times the last week and downloading already downloaded emails.

I have not tried reinstalling as I don't want to lose all of my emails.

I've been operating this mail program for the last year without a problem and within the last week it's causing trouble.

I have a profile picture on my Microsoft account that I don't recognize.

i want to remove it or change it.

how do I do that?

I am transferring from Vista Mail to Win7.  Easy Transfer worked perfectly for everything but Live Mail.  Only "Sent" and "Deleted" were transferred in full from 1G of mail.  I tried copying the WinMail folders to the new machine in the Users area.  Copied fine and when I opened any of the folders and clicked a random email,  Windows Live opened and properly read the message.

When I tried to drag the messages to a folder in Windows Live Storage, the status window opened and indicated the files were transferred.  Yet when I went to the storage folder, nothing.  I also tried to import but got the error message that there were either no messages or the file was in use (it wasn't).

It's confusing because WinLive will read the messages now parked in the "Users" folders but it won't recognize them when either dragged or imported into the WinLive program.

What am I doing wrong?

Messages sent to recipient now are coming back with delay message and delays up to 3 days to receive, and pdf,s wont come through on windows live but do on hotmail. Has been no issues for years.
I volunteer for a seniors computer class.  We have upgraded the computers to Windows 7 and Windows 8.  We are trying to download Windows Live Essentials and Windows Securities so that our students understand how to use these products however we cannot download Essentials.  As soon as the download gets to 41% it stops.  We have tried to force the download and can only get 39% to download. We prefer to use these products and encourage the students to use them.
