Can I get a log of all the successful attempts from July 1st til November of 2011?
I already received failed attempts log.
I just got a new computer. My email runs as it should. However, my husband's email account shows the message "Windows Live Mail is synchronizing this account. Check back in a few minutes to read your messages." Then, a log-in box is shown. After logging in, a bigger box opens that says there were errors while processing the requested task. The error box in empty, but the task box shows "Task: Check for new messages on 'Msn (leepeters8666)' " with the word "canceled" appearing under status. I've deleted the account and then added it again, but nothing changes. I've tried several fixes mentioned, but nothing works. Can someone help?

I have problems with the mail.live.com. Currently after logging into my mail account via the web client (at mail.live.com). All the elements (incoming mail, Create, Answer etc. buttons) simply do not show up.
See the attached image to see what I'm talking about.

Microsoft have emailed a 4 digit code which, when i input, is apparently wrong and i should have a 5 digit code. HELP! all i want is to access my hotmail account. why so difficult?
Windows Live Mail 2012 opens with enormous font size and I have tried CTRl +0 with no effect
I have been using Windows Live Mail 2011 and its worked fine. Recently my laptop automatically updated to Windows Live Essential ( incl. Mail) 2012. Liove Mail stopped functioning properly - it would no longer sync email to my account and just got hung on 'Updating calendar'
I tried restarting my laptop and also uninstalling and re-installing Windows Essential 2012. But none of this did any good.
I have now re-installed Windows Live Mail 2011 which is working fine thank goodness.
Any thoughts / comments - is it me or is it duff Windows Essential 2012

Trying to set up email using comcast.net account. Have successfully received email, but cannot send. I get this error message:
The connection to the server has failed.
Subject 'test'
Server: 'smtp.comcast.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10060
I have tried deleting email account and re-adding. I have tried repairing Windows Essentials, I have talked to ISP tech support. This is Windows 7, by the way.

For some strange reason today I cannot send messages from my WLM 2012. When I click send, I can see the progression of "connecting" followed by "Authorizing" and then I get "Error". The error box only indicates "failed", nothing more. I can receive
e-mails. I'm using Windows 7. The configuration looks correct and I tried the repair option in the control panel for Windows Live Essentials. I can't solve this one. Help !!!
THIS PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED BY INSTALLING THE NEXT UPDATE.

Was working fine, did a Windows Essential upgrade on pop-up prompt, then got this. Cannot read emails already on drive, did a restore to the state before the upgrade WE.
