I accidentally 'refreshed' my computer and lost my emails etc. I have re-set it back up with windows live mail via talktalk. When I had to put in my password, it was refused. I changed the password on the talk talk web site and it says that it is accepted. However, when I came to use it, it still refused the password. No matter how many times i changed it on the website and on the settings, it refuses to accept it. I tried all my old passwords too, no joy!! The talktalk people did all the usual things but said that it was definitely a problem with Microsoft and not the client (them). I contacted Microsoft and they say they no longer offer support and to come on here!!!!!!!!!!!! What happens if no one can help me? I think it is disgusting that they won't help and I am left without email. I can pick them up on the actual taktalk website but that is such a parlarva. My outlook.com won't work either. I have been told that my ip address may be compromised and blocked. Please help me whilst I still have some hair!!!!
Regards
Heather
Original Title: Windows Live Mail
I have just purchased a new PC which has Windows 10 installed on it. I used Window Live Mail on my previous laptop, which was Windows 7 based. I need access to my Windows Live Mail account on my new computer, so that I have access to old messages, folders and mail contact details. Unfortunately I do not know how to go about this and need guidance. Can you help?
Does anyone know, short of copying each saved email in a folder, how to copy all contents in a saved e-mail folder to my flash drive? I have Windows 7 Using Windows Live Mail.
Thank You.
I can't use Windows Live Mail after installing optional update KB3093594 on Jan 9, 2016. Site opens up and shows email up to that date but will not pull anything new in. I am forced to go to Live.com (Outlook) for mail. I do not like that site and prefer to get my mail the same old way.
Tried to "uninstall" an update, but it is not listed.
