Original Title: when I go to Send an email Bcc to groupes I receive the following message;

Type an email address for one or more recipients in the To:, cc, or Bcc box

I hit OK then enter my email address in the Bcc box then the hit send and the message goes through?

How do I fix this problem?

During the Easter holliday and seen from my viewpoint it seems as if Google have implemented server changes that

make a difference between reliable and not so reliable email clients and unfortunately Windows Live Mail is falling on

the "bad" side of the fence. That resulted in an impossibility to access my Gmail accounts with Windows Live Mail

The result was an error code of 0x800CCC0F over and over again mixed with other error strings as well.

I am not competent enough to solve thiese kind of problems just like that but eventually I find my solution.

There is a possibility to define Google to accept these "not so reliable" applications and after lowering the bar

Windows Live Mail can climb over the fence and the mail handling works like a charm again. This is how I did it:

On https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps there is a choice to inactivate or activate this possibility.

It seems the default is to activate this function but if you select inactivate you  have moved Windows Live Mail to the

friendly side of the fence and Gmail again works fine.

Another page is

https://myaccount.google.com/security#connectedapps far down right where you can move a slider

to the OFF (left) position which gives the same result.

It may be smarter ways of doing this but this was good enough for me.

The problem maybe more widespread. I am running win 7 pro with Win Live Ess 2011. I have 3 accounts gmail, hotmail, shaw.ca and I cannot reply or forward any.

I get an error message not a redline. When i try to repair Essentials, it gets almost complete then announces it has lost internet connection which has happened 3 times in a row. Connection is good each time.

I wonder if it is connected to a firewall issue in a bad update by MS?

Whenever I want to send photos or other files I don't seem to be able to send more that 2mb at any one time. I have to split the email up to send one or two pictures each time. I had no such trouble with Outlook.

frequently windows live mail stops working. I reinstall and get a few weeks then it disappears again. How do I resolve this?

Since updating to Windows 10 32 bit on all four of my computers, I have found that my email syncs fine in Windows Live mail 2012 program, but the calendar program within this does not.  I just hope everything is compatible with windows 10.  I prefer to use this program instead of the newer calendar apps in win 10.  Everything worked fine in windows 7 32 bit.  I use my yahoo email to sign in to my Microsoft account, as I have done for years: i.e. same email as for outlook.com on line.  I do not use any yahoo calendar.  Could this be the cause?  Any help appreciated.

I have W7 on my pc with WLM 2011. I upgraded to WL Essentials 2012 mail and can still not send or receive any emails/files from my pc. To access my emails from my phone I had to upload & switch to outlook.com. I have 4 email accounts in my pc that I need to access daily to send files.  I can access my email on my phone but this doesn't get my files from my pc.  I travel a lot so my internet connection on my pc is a wireless stick. I do get this error message on my pc   " server error 3219   mail.services.live.comDelta Sync_v2.0.0Sync.aspx  windows live mail error ID 0x8DE00005 ".  Can anyone help?   Step-by-step instructions will be helpful.. Thank you

Windows 7:  My Windows Live Mail will not connect with my hotmail account.  I know I have the correct hotmail address and password.  I have tried setting it up in WLM using the automatic setup and I have tried setting it up manually using the default settings and also using the pop-mail.outlook.com +  smtp-mail.outlook.com and using 465 as the outgoing smtp as well as trying 587.  When I try to connect to that hotmail account, it tries to connect then I get the Logon Screen asking for my email address and password.  I type it in correctly, select OK, the logon fades away then immediately reappears and wanting me to logon again.  I put my PW in again and it does the same thing.  When I select Cancel, I get an error message saying: unable to send or receive because of an incorrect password.  I know the password is correct (I've retype it 10 times).  I've also installed the "update" that appeared when I opened WLM a short time ago.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

How can I disable the window that says "Sing In to Windows Live Mail" that appears when I launch Outlook on my desktop?
