At C:, Users, Name, AppData, Local, Microsoft, Windows Live Mail, Storage Folders: I have some duplicate folders. These duplicate folders have the same name as other ones, but with a (1) added. Some others
are duplicated in a folder named "Imported Folders". How can I get rid of these duplicates? And, how can I keep WLM from creating them again when I open the program?
This problem started yesterday out of the blue. Everything was fine until then. I have a one month old laptop with Windows 8.1 and Windows mail. I have a Microsoft account. My name shows up on the signon screen. I have 2 email accounts set up on this machine, one for me (call me Marty), one for my wife (call her Debby), using 2 different email addresses as always. Up until now, outsiders saw the name Debby on her outgoing emails, and Marty on mine. No problem. Now her outgoing emails say Marty. Funny though, her emails to me still say Debby. I have gone into the "PEOPLE" contact list but only see the correct names for both of us. I do not see any Marty associated with her email address. However if I sign on to her email and create a new message and start typing Debby, it lists 2 Debbys, one with my email address, one with hers. I can't find where the one with my name on it is located. Is her email's name defaulting to my account name?
btw I am still getting used to Windows 8's weird quirks but overall I really like it.

Your calendar contains corrupt data that are forcing Windows Live Mail to close. (0x8E5E0247)
Please can you help to suggest a way to resolve this?
I've already uninstalled then reinstalled the program as you suggested above.

I have been using Windows Live Mail for years and would prefer to continue doing so.
I recently changed internet providers which necessitated the change to a web based email address.
I chose MS Outlook as I thought it would be compatible with my other MS products. It seems not so which is very frustrating. My address list is extensive.

I did a "Program Compatibility Troubleshooter" on my PC. the results were that Windows Live Mail is not compatible with my PC. How can that be the case when I am operating with Windows 8.1 Pro and 600 GB of memory? Can I fix this problem?
