Does the export/import email messages includes the attachments?
Original Title: Import/export
In installing Windows Live Mail 2012 on Windows 8.1, I, with my mind elsewhere, did not put in the correct addresses for my email server. I cannot find out where to go to make the corrections. I have uninstalled Windows Live Mail and then reinstalled it hoping I could then make the corrections, but it installs with the errors. Therefore, I cannot send or receive emails in Windows Live Mail. Help, please. It was a stupid error on my part.
Below is the message I receive.
Unable to send or receive messages for the Sbcglobal (smiths1951) account. The host '*** Email address is removed for privacy ***' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.

I was trying to learn to use Outlook from Microsoft Office. For that purpose I tried to export some emails from Windows Live Mail.
First I tried to export just the local inbox folder in Windows Live Mail. Windows Live Mail froze, it was automatically restarted. So I could not export only the local Inbox of one of the local email accounts.
Then I tried to export all the folder from one of the local email accounts.
A small window appeared telling me that the exporting of the emails took place. I was never told to what location.
I was not asked by the program to select a destination location.
I still can see my local folders and the emails in them. But , to what location were the emails exported?
Thank you for your attention.
I do not understand the purpose of the Quick view folder. Sometimes mail comes to it, but not to the "regular" inbox. Sometimes after I click on the mail in the quick view it disappears to spam folder.
I have tried to delete the quick view inbox, but the delete is not highlighted.
Please explain what is the purpose of this folder and how I can either remove or disable it, as I am losing emails, even from people that are on approved list.

A problem has occurred. Please Try Again..
i have tried to do the whole FIX/REPAIR on windows essentials.
i have tried by un-installing and re-installing but still wont work..
I received this issue last week, so I removed the Outlook.com hosted email address *** Email address is removed for privacy *** from Live Mail. It worked until today, when again I got this same error.
I don't want to keep removing and installing this email account to get it working. Please fix it.
Other details:
My Live Mail client has 5 other outlook accounts - those are unaffected. For *** Email address is removed for privacy *** I have it also installed on the same computer in Outlook 2013 (software), and it in unaffected. Note, I do not use Outlook 2013 because it sucks, I use Live Mail only, I just want to point out all these details so you know it's not my firewall or anything - as if it were, the other accounts in Live Mail would stop working as well.
Everyone on the Status page for the accounts says it is operating fine.
