Attempting to Export/Import/Migrate an Archives folder from Win7 to Win8. This folder contains emails I need to keep/archive so they can be referred back to. When following directions for exporting & importing I have successfully imported my Contacts, not the Calendar nor existing emails other than ones still on the server. My ISP requires POP3. IMAP is not available. It's what I have available in my rather remote location. I would like to have those emails and especially the Archives folder. I've updated my Calendar manually. Suggestions? Thanks for your help. Joe

Hi,
Have just moved to Windows Live Mail, newly installed on Windows 7 PC. On start up get a message "Installation of RSS Feed support failed. RSS feeds could not be updated".
I have no feeds live, all disabled. All software and windows up to date. Have "repaired" WLM. - these all suggestions I found on other forums but nothing has changed the pop up.
Does not effect email ability to send receive, just a bit annoying so would be good to remove - if only I knew how....
Any ideas out there?
I get this error message:
The connection to the server has failed.
Subject ''
Server: 'smpt-server.roadrunner.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10013
when I try to send mail. I have a roadrunner e-mail address and have it linked to windows live mail. I can receive mail fine but will not send. It has worked for years, I did not change anything, then a few days ago it just started doing this. Any suggestions.

ISSUE #1 When I tried to send an email today. I clicked the SEND button & I got this pop up that unless I make some changes, it refuses to send the email.
Here's what the pop-up message said:
"The message could not be sent. Some of the recipients for this message are not valid. Please verify the names"
For goodness sake Windows Live Mail 2012 - for goodness sake, can you at least show us the invalid email addresses so that we can remove them, fix them or change them? Unless you do that, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Help us out here!!!
ISSUE #2 Look, come full circle with the idea, under QUICK VIEWS, you have ALL INBOX, ALL DRAFT, ALL SENT ITEMS & ALL JUNK EMAIL. Why not add ALL DELETE EMAIL too?

I had my email accounts freeze two weeks ago. The only option for problem solving was to migrate to Windows Live mail. I did. It took all my data usage allotment with my carrier. Then it froze over the weekend again, and now will not even open for me. In the help section I found how to uninstall it and the reinstall to initiate the fix for the problem. Did that. But now when I try to open Windows Live Mail, I get this error message:
The program can't start because WLDCore.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem. I did. It still gives me the same error message. Windows Live Mail is holding 2 Hotmail accounts hostage and that doesn't even begin to deal with my aol, Yahoo, or gmail accounts.
I'm a writer and need to be in contact with my editor on a regular basis. This is not an efficient way to operate your system. Windows 8 has not been user friendly with its "charms" instead of the standard, previous functioning programs within the Windows Office Suite that business people use every day.
And every time I need to do something, I have to download something else to support the function. Now, you've locked me out of files I need to function for my job. Not very efficient or cost effective. And I have always been a huge Microsoft advocate.
Please fix this so I can have my email accounts back the way they were before all your upgrades or at least so that they function.
I still question the stability to your system when users can access the internet via the desktop or the start window and they have two very different functionalities. How is that stable or cohabitable for a system?
Any direction you can offer would be greatly appreciated at this time.

I want to install Family Safety in our server but first it told me wasn't able to install .NET Framework 3.5, so I did it using Manager Server, now when I run the Family Safety Software it doesn't finish the process. There's an error saying "we couldn't install Family Safety" and does it. Do you know what I'm missing?
