I have BT Broadband infinity and BT Mail which I access through Windows Live Mail.  I have been using this for months with no problem.

At about 3.00am this morning my Windows Live Mail stopped working.  I removed and reloaded my accounts.  When downloading files it stops after a couple of seconds and I get the following message:  the tcp/ip connection was unexpectedly terminated by the server

This is followed by: Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server due to non-network errors.  This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on your system

Memory is fine.

Please can you advise....?

Thank you

I have tried allowing answers.en-us in Windows Live Mail, allowing "localhost", and looked through anything I could edit in the registry to get this to work, and nothing has helped. "Show images" and "Add to safe sender's list" doesn't work.

I have been trying to delete contacts from my Windows Live.

I have a lot of contacts under  All contacts (638). At the top of the list is Ipad 3 - next to this is a mobile phone number *removed* which I do not recognize.

Also above the list is "3 Ipad" and in brackets below (Offline).

The majority of the contacts don't exist any longer or need updating.

Is there anyway I can get rid of them?

I'm using Windows Live Mail 2012 with Windows 7, and can receive emails, but cannot sent them.  This is a new computer and has McAfee LiveSafe internet security.  I understand from other sites I've visited that I need to set the outgoing mail port to 587, but can't seem to figure out how to access the place where I can change this.  Please help!

Good morning....sent an email and ONLY pressed just send...I'm SUPER sensitive to that because I HAVE errored before.  Now it's sending to ALL....luckily so far I haven't said anything stupid or harmful...(which of course I Never do anyway LOL)

I can't send emails using Live Mail.  I receive an error:

Subject "ipad"

Server (it's correct, using it on phone and ipad)

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCCOE

Protocol: SMTP

Port

Secure(SSL): No

Socket Error: 10060

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I can't send emails through Windows Live because I get Error 0x80004004. Is there a easy way to fix the problem?
