There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative.

I cannot change from working offline to working online after inadvertently switching to working offline.  Now I cannot revert to working online and as a results cannot send or receive messages in WLM.  How can I sort this out?

I set up the 2 step verification to send a code to either my mobile or alternative email address but when I ask for a code it cant be sent

I downloaded family safety and cant install it. I made a live account and can log in to outlook.

but when I try to install the program it says I don't have a live account.

when I click to make a account it goes to a page that says I have a account .

any help ?

thanks

does Microsoft have a program for Mail that actually allows you to block unwanted emails. 2011 does not work at all. My blocked sender list contains probably 200 sender and domains and they still keep coming!

I recently had to reset my computer. I reset it to Windows 7 since I already had recovery discs for it.   I am not a fan of Windows 8.1 which I had before.  My problem is simple; I think.

I was told that I could no longer use Windows live mail, so I got my email through Comcast.  Then, I realized I could get email from WLM, so I reinstalled it and everything was working fine.  Then, I got a message:  "The server you are connected with is using a security certificate  that could not be verified.  The certificate's CN name does match the passed value."  I immediately called Comcast, but they were not able to help me.  Can somebody tell me how I can stop getting this message every time I want to check my WLM.  Thanks for any help.

Care

My printer All-In-One Dell (purch. 2004) stopped working.  When attempting to use, sign popped up "Print Spooler service is not running?" This happened a month after I switched to Windows 8.  Dell says there is no software for this printer to be re-installed on the Windows 8 and suggested I buy another printer.

I don't think Dell should have the last word.  Any advice?  Can I buy drivers, other software??

Thanks for your information.

my email froze on somthing while the rest of my com was fine but on the restart of my com and the win live mail my folders had been moved to the storage of recovered items and now my mailing provider cant recognize what they already sent so im getting doubles because the folders was moved out of my account folder but how do i get those folders back to their original places when the drag and drop wont work?

I clearly have the correct User Name (my primary e-mail address) and password combination to sign into my Microsoft account because I am logged in to this website using that information.  I can also use that to log in on the msn homepage, outlook.com website and live.com website.  If I go into outlook .com, I can receive and send e-mail and access my calendar.  So I know I am using the correct combination of email address and password.

HOWEVER, when I open my Windows Live Mail (WLM) program on the  desktop,  it commences to fetch my mail and attempts to automatically sign me in to the Microsoft account to synchronize with the cloud.  It fails.  I get an error message saying, "The email address or password is incorrect.  Please try again."

I have typed and re-typed the email address and password dozens of times to no avail. I have told WLM to remember me.  I have told WLM to forget me.  I have reset (changed) my password several times.  Nothing has let me sign in via WLM.  Once again, after all this, I can get to outlook.com and log into the msn homepage with the current password, while WLM refuses to accept it.

When clicking the mail-to links , mail opens up and downloads my mail , but it will not continue on to a email message form so i can send the mail . I tried this over and over ,,no luck .
