For the last several weeks, I get error 800ccc0f intermittently when sending, receiving and moving messages to local folders.

I have Windows Live Mail 2012 build 16.4.3528.0331. Windows 7 64 bit, all critical updates current, 8 GB RAM.  AVG  2014, with email scanning disabled.  I have used IMAP protocol for several years.  I use a hard wire router. I took the router out, and it made no difference. No other programs are running.

I checked with my cable ISP and my connection is fine and they are having no network problems. The confirmed my properties settings are correct.

On my synchronized web based email, I keep those folders empty. I empty my Inboxes daily, either deleting the messages or storing them in my local folders.

My complete error messages are:

After receiving mail:

“Your Server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.  Possible causes are server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

The server did not respond to this IMAP command before the connection was terminated.

Account: Charter(adamsr2)(1)

Server: IMAP.Charter.net

User Name: adamsr2

Protocol: IMAP

Port: 143

Secure(SSL): 0

 Code: 800ccc0f.”

When moving messages to local folders:

“Your Server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.  Possible causes are server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

The server did not respond to this IMAP command before the connection was terminated.

Account: Charter(adamsr2)(1)

Server: IMAP.Charter.net

User Name: adamsr2

Protocol: IMAP

Port: 143

Secure(SSL): 0

 Code: 800ccc0f.”

When Sending a message:

“An unknown error has occurred.  You IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors.  This could, for example, indicate lack of memory on your system.

Configuration:

Account: Charter(adamsr2)(1)

Server: IMAP.Charter.net

User Name: adamsr2

Protocol: IMAP

Port: 143

Secure(SSL): 0

 Code: 800ccc0f.”

Any suggestions?

Hi,

This issue started recently like a week ago. when I try to send an email, nothing happens and i see all the top bar vanishes. But it seems that mail has been sent eventually. I need to press back from IE and leave the message and go back to my inbox.

This is what I see after I click send for this mail.

Thanks

Madhavi

Sir, why is it when I send junk mail to the blocked sender list they never appear there? I have to manually add them to the blocked senders list. I am using Windows Live Mail.

Sir, why is it when I send junk mail to the blocked sender list they never appear there? I have to manually add them to the blocked senders list. I am using Windows Live Mail.

when i open live mail it while open mail , my concern is if it opens an email automatically could it also be opening something that might have a virus. also i use 2012 version of live mail is there a newer version or does it get updates when windows sends out updates once a month?
I had a Livemail account that suddenly I could no longer access. Instead I was forced into a new Outlook account. What happened to all my records in the Livemail account? Are they gone forever? If so I will know that I can't trust my Outlook account for storage and retrieval of information I may want to access at a later date. Where can I get an explanation to this situation and how can I retrieve information from my closed Livemail account? Thankful for any help offered.

When trying to send and receive email in Windows Live Mail this error pops up

Unable to send or receive messages for the Outdrs (jms) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

Server Error: 0x800CCC90
Server Response: -ERR jms logon failed
Server: 'mail.outdrs.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No

I have 2 email address and error message continues on one email and only intermittingly on the other.

Can anyone help me to solve this issue. Thank you.

I have been using Windows Live Mail on Windows 7 for a while without a problem but over the weekend I connected my laptop to a network cable and after that I get error 0xc00000be every time I try to open without the network cable. All along I have been using wireless networks. It only starts when connected to a cable network. I have tried uninstalling, wiping the registry clean and everything else but nothing works and I am thinking of formatting now except if I get helped. Please help; I just don't like any other email programs out there.
