why do I get this error when I try to update my account? Up till yesterday all was working well then suddenly I'm asked to sign in and my password is rejected.

Hello -

I deleted a PRIMARY Microsoft Account over a year ago, in hopes that I would be able to use that account as an alias on a different Microsoft Account.

I was told that I would need to wait 365 days for the account to be deleted. It has been well over a year, but I still CANNOT add that email address as an alias to my current account.

Can somebody assist with this? I need to check on the status of my OLD account to confirm that it was indeed deleted.

Thanks,

Paul

Using Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) & WLM V-2009 Build: 14.0.8117.0416 via the WLM program, not thru IE11.  Starting a few weeks ago, WLM will randomly & spontaneously generate a reply to an incoming email.  This reply has a blank subject line and nothing in the body.  I've tried numerous fixes with no success.  Any ideas?
A few days ago my father (Windows Live Mail using Verizon.Net) stopped receiving SOME emails.  There are no commonalities within the email addresses not being received and they are from various different domains.  None of the not received emails addressees are showing on the Blocked Sender list; all are on the Safe Sender List.  He is able to send emails to all addressees with no problem, including the addressees he is not receiving email from.  Other family members using Verizon.net ARE receiving email from the addressees my father is not receiving.

Original title: Windows Live Mail Error

On my laptop i can't get my Windows Live Mail to replicate.  Serer Error:  4201 windows Live Mail Error ID:  0x8DE00002

I prefer to this without uninstalling and re-installing.  I've done that before and it really is a hassle to get everything set up the way I like it again.

Okay, I have spent two days reading about uninstalling and re-installing Live Mail, Live Essentials. It seems I have performed most all the tasks from simple to command line clean, yet I still cannot get Live Mail to operate. I would like to know if there is a procedure similar to the command line operation, where I could simply use a command line with just "C:" so maybe I could clear every spec of Live Essentials from my hard drive.
I am using Windows Live mail 2012, When I sent mails with BCC those mails in the sent items to column sort to "BCC address", but I need sort sent items column to "to address". For ex. sent mails to 10 different people with BCC "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" sent column to address shows all 10 mails *** Email address is removed for privacy *** difficult to trace the mail. Please help me to sort out my problem. Thanks

For the last several weeks, I get error 800ccc0f intermittently when sending, receiving and moving messages to local folders.

I have Windows Live Mail 2012 build 16.4.3528.0331. Windows 7 64 bit, all critical updates current, 8 GB RAM.  AVG  2014, with email scanning disabled.  I have used IMAP protocol for several years.  I use a hard wire router. I took the router out, and it made no difference. No other programs are running.

I checked with my cable ISP and my connection is fine and they are having no network problems. The confirmed my properties settings are correct.

On my synchronized web based email, I keep those folders empty. I empty my Inboxes daily, either deleting the messages or storing them in my local folders.

My complete error messages are:

After receiving mail:

“Your Server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.  Possible causes are server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

The server did not respond to this IMAP command before the connection was terminated.

Account: Charter(adamsr2)(1)

Server: IMAP.Charter.net

User Name: adamsr2

Protocol: IMAP

Port: 143

Secure(SSL): 0

 Code: 800ccc0f.”

When moving messages to local folders:

“Your Server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.  Possible causes are server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

The server did not respond to this IMAP command before the connection was terminated.

Account: Charter(adamsr2)(1)

Server: IMAP.Charter.net

User Name: adamsr2

Protocol: IMAP

Port: 143

Secure(SSL): 0

 Code: 800ccc0f.”

When Sending a message:

“An unknown error has occurred.  You IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors.  This could, for example, indicate lack of memory on your system.

Configuration:

Account: Charter(adamsr2)(1)

Server: IMAP.Charter.net

User Name: adamsr2

Protocol: IMAP

Port: 143

Secure(SSL): 0

 Code: 800ccc0f.”

Any suggestions?
