Normal email works fine. If I try to attach a file to an email I get this message and the email does not go. "The host 'SMTP' could not be found. This just started???
After downloading wlsetup-all_exe and trying to run it I get a popup box showing logos for 15 of the apps on my computer asking which application I should use to open the .exe file. No selection produces a action.
WHAT DO I DO?

I have Windows 7. When attempting to start WINDOWS LIVE MAIL I immediately get a screen that tells me "Window Live Mail Has Stopped Working" It then searches for a solution, however cannot find one. I have (a) selected Windows Live Essentails 2012 and run a repair. (b) I have inserted my start up/recovery disk and rebooted the computer. (c) I have run a registry problem solving program. None have worked. Short of reinstalling windows 7, Is there a solution to this problem?

In the last 24hrs I have been unable to open a new email or reply to anything I have received. When I click on new message, or try to reply to one I get the following from Live drive " A problem has occurred while trying to open this message. A problem has occurred. Please try again." I am receiving everything perfectly well and the problem? seems to be in my computer not with the server as it won't even let me open anything let alone send anything. Any answers for this one? I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled it but to no avail! I have run an AV scan and done some maintainence. Everything else seems to be working fine. This has only happened in the last 24 hours.

Original title: How to get message through to Windows high up folks who make decisions
I would like to know if it is ever possible to get through to the top dogs at Microsoft or Windows or whoever it is to let them know that lots of people want stationery in WLM. I used to have Outlook Express and it had stationery. WLM is supposed to be an improvement on Express but they took the stationery out of it. How do they justify this? I have to have Thunderbird so I can use stationery. I don't understand why WLM doesn't have it. I don't expect them to come up with a stationery collection, just the option to Choose File from your own collection to use as stationery. Express used to have that. They are doing updates all the time on Windows, why can't they add that? How do I get through to the people who make these decisions to let them know that so many of us want stationery?

Every time I receive email from Google Play, it opens fine, and inside it says Google Play and it is just all colored background and then I scroll all the way down and it says this email was meant to be delivered to me, blah, blah, blah. I just did a factory restore on my computer. It was like this before and it is like this now. I also have another computer that it is the same problem as this one. I notified Google and they told me to notify you. I have never had this problem before with any of my mail. I really love Windows Life Mail, I have windows 8. Thank you Jessie
