I am currently running Windows 10 and have been using Windows Live Mail for several years on various versions of Windows. I decided to try Windows Mail to see if it was an improvement over WLM. I cut over to Windows Mail and have used it for several weeks.
It lacks several features that I find necessary. e.g. the inability to create and manage folders, and the lack of the ability to send emails to groups.
In any case when I tried to go back to Windows Live Mail, the client would not work apparently because my emails had been migrated to outlook.com. So, I changed the properties in Windows Live Mail client to access the outlook.com server and successfully
regained access to my email in the Windows Live client using IMAP as recommended on the outlook.com web site.
Now, I am unable to print any of my emails in the Windows Live Mail client. IE printing works fine, as does printing from MS Office and all other apps. The WLM client fails whenever the "Print" button in
the print dialog box is pressed with the message: "Windows Live Mail has stopped working." The program then terminates, and sometimes restarts automatically, sometimes not.
Any advice you could offer would be appreciated.
