Windows Live Mail FAQ
This is the second time I have had this problem- the last time it cost me over 100.00 to have it fixed by a home tech. I cannot afford to keep doing this. I have read all the accts of others who have had this same problem. It seems little success it made.. I hate to give up my E-mail acct.
I am so disappointed in Microsoft that they can't just fix this problem...
What can I do that will work... ???

I get the following message when trying to create a new email, or reply to an email. This occurs even in the Hotmail account, and another account I have. Receiving is not an issue. Any suggestions?
When I recieve message with phot's windows live will not let me forward with photo's . I get message some photo's may not be forwarded with message.
How do i set my windows to allow this

Due to lack of space, this morning the WLM was unable to show email contents. When I realized this was due to space issue, I closed all programs and started working on creating free space. Later, with about 10GB free space, I started to launch programs, including WLM. To my dismay, it went into Recovery mode.
Just because I did not want it to get corrupted, I let it run. But after an hour, when it opened up, it was just plain empty! The two email accounts were missing, and the storage folders showed empty as if just created. Though it did have Recovered folders, it wasn't quite containing all offline folders/subfolders!
Can someone please assist quickly on how to bring all settings and storage folders show up as they were? I found online articles that permit recovery to previous WLM version from c:userappdata....microsoft and right click "Windows live mail" folder to select Recover - to a previous version. This option is missing on my system and am not sure how to bring everything back to normal.
Can someone please quickly assist on how to fix this issue? I checked the WLM folder where it is saved, and it does show the size that looks like everything is inside, but its just not showing up under WLM.
Please assist urgently.

I use Windows Live Mail (sort of looks like outlook) on my computer.
I have several email accounts which are all used for business purposes.
There have been no issues with any accounts in the past however suddenly one of my accounts is not sending any emails.
It will receive mail just not send.
When I push the send/ receive button the following comes up:
"An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'TEST' Server: 'mail.discoveryfishing.com' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0B Protocol: SMTP Port: 25 Secure(SSL): No"
What do I do? How do I get the email working again? This has been going on for a couple of months now.
Don't have access to the secondary email address so can't recover the account that way. Have also tried to use the questionnaire at https://account.live.com/acsr without success, it just comes back straight away with an email saying not enough information was provided.
I have provided it with 3 recent email addresses and 4 recent email subjects which seems like it should be enough, yet it doesn't work.
What can I do to regain access to my account as it contains important emails that I must recover?
