I got this message:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail account (lesmakowski).
Server and Windows Live Mail error - ID: 0x80191002
What a hellish error ? How to bite this?
Would Windows Live Mail version 2011 work better with Windows XP or rather upgrade to Windows 7
This morning (08/22/2014), as I switched to Windows Live Mail, I noted that my Log-In ID for Windows 7 was captured and printed in the Live Mail search window! Am fairly certain this is not supposed to happen, and I do not recall it ever happening before; but I might not have noticed it earlier.
I run Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with SrvcPk1 on a Gateway DX 4350, AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Processor with 8GB Ram.
Had just logged out, logged back in after boot-up (apps seems to run faster this way), and logged in to Windows Live Mail, though Windows Live was already up in background.
At the top above the email pane, my Log-In ID was already captured and printed in the "search for a message" input window. Another security breach? Thanks for your support.
when I am trying to lo in domain.live.com to manage my user accounts Its showing runtime error..please help
I've tried to log on to my old account but failed because i couldn't get passed the recovery page.I've tried to get the support service to contact me but they are yet to do so. I've tried to contact microsoft by phone and they gave me a link to https://support.microsoft.com/getsupport which was useless. I couldn't even have a chat or send a email.
Window's Live Mail (2011) on Windows 7 was working fine until two days ago (coincidentally this started just after I was hacked/scammed by people pretending to be from Microsoft - could that have anything to do with it?)
The laptop has been completely stripped, cleaned and rebuilt since then but the problem with Window's Live Mail continues. I re installed it, and reset the account but when I did I got a pop-up box asking me to 'Please enter the user name and password for the following server' https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0
And if I try and open Live Mail any other way (ie via messenger) it simply tells me that the user name and password are incorrect - but they are not. However if I go into Outlook independently it works fine. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Live Mail several times. I have taken Norton off in the process. I have changed the password countless times and have reset the email account on the new Live Mail both manually and automatically. I need to get it working but I am also concerned that I won't be able to get into my Windows's 8 laptop (currently in the UK but I am not) because you have to use your Windows Live Mail to open it.
Please advise!
In advance thank you.
I would like to have my WLM calendar sync to my android phone.... how do I do that? Someone mentioned setting up a new 'Exchange', but I do not know how to do that or what that means.
Thank you!
I have a new computer running Windows 8.1. I am trying to set up Live Mail using Windows Essentials 2012. It says I need to download "Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1". Then it says "An app on your PC needs the following Windows feature: .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)".
When I attempt to download this last app I get an error code - 0x800F0906 and my download stops.
The only fix I have tried is to download all the windows upgrades.
