Our Windows Live Mail does not always accept the password. Sometimes it comes right on. Sometimes it takes multiple attempts. Other times not at all.

I have been trying to eliminate the password (I do not care about security) but no one has been able to do that. Our old Outlook Express would come right up when the computer was turned on.

But with all the new and wonderful upgrades (sarcasm intended) we can't make that happen.

Can anyone tell me how to make the password work all the time?

Or better yet, how to get rid of the need for a password on a computer that never leaves our home?

Thx.

Original title: Windows Live Mail login issues

I have Windows 7 and all the recent updates. Since the recent Windows Essentials updates my Windows Mail keeps saying that my password is wrong.

When I open it two windows pop up, 1 - the main window that asks for the password and then another one, small one that asks the password for the following server : http://mail.services.live.com/Delta. (etc. I can't see the full link ).. and I put my password in and it says it's wrong. Any ideas ?  I tried deleting my mail account and adding it again, same thing happens.. I know there's always an option to restore to a point before the updates and then hide them so they don't install again.. but maybe there's a manual set-up ?

I have forgotten my Live mail account password, but keep after receiving the code to change are then told to type yahoo account password very confused.
I have created several contact categories.  When I signed on to Windows Live Mail today, most of my categories were gone, but not all.  Why would this happen?

When I try to forward a note that includes an attachment using Windows Live Essentials installed in August of 2013 Version 15.4.3555.0308 and then try to delete the attachment, Windows Live Essentials freezes.  It does not "unfreeze" and the only way to get out of the "not responding" mode is to use Task Manager and stop the program.   This, unfortunately, means that I lose the contents of the note I have written.  Sometimes the notes that are lost have taken me quite a while to create and I lose a lot of valuable work.

I always get a message that Windows will look for a solution, but this has happened several times.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Always worked fine, suddenly I can only receive mail, but outgoing stays in Outbox.  My regular roadrunner account works fine, it's only the Windows Live Mail.

This is the error message:

An unknown error has occurred.

Server Error: 554
Server Response: 554 ERROR: Mail Refused - See http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=184.57.82.35

Can anyone help?  Thanks.

Just switched from Outlook on XP to WLM on Windows 7.  Have been previously sending through website hosted by Citymax for years.  First try on WLM  at sending to 150 person list went to Outbox. No error message.. Reduced to 10 recipients at a time, worked 5 times, then got sent to Outbox, where it refused to go farther. Almost every try at dividing up my list has failed. Comcast says it's not them. CityMax claims not to be limiting outgoing. Puzzled.
