Hi! How can I have unwanted (blocked) emails automatically bounced back to sender?

Hi MikeM222,

We perfectly respect your thoughts about Hotmail/Outlook.com and your comments and suggestions are really important to us.

Please be informed that the information about the contacts limit on Outlook.com that was provided by kathleencollins was on the year 2012. Based on our recent updates, the contacts limit on Outlook.com

has been increased and we can assure you that it is greater than the previous limit. However, we can't give you the exact number. On the other hand, if you're really interested to know more information about your contacts limit, we'd like to request for your affected email address so that we can check it on our end. Just click on "You have a private reply to this message" (red font) link just above your post to view the message.

Note: You need to sign in to Microsoft Community to be able to view the message.

We will wait for your response.

Thank you.

There is little point in lying and misrepresenting the facts.

The contact limit in outlook was, is, and has remained at  1500.

I am using Windows Live Mail to handle my email accounts and what I have noticed is that Outlook will temporarily go past 1500 contacts (say, 1505), only to wake up the next day, sign in, and find out that the contacts are 1500. It basically deletes sufficient contacts randomly to get back to the 1500.

I have backed up all my contacts independently (i.e. away from Microsoft) such that I can preserve them.

When you can start providing us with the truth, pease let us know

Thank you

I have 8 people set up in a group contact folder and when I email that group it will randomly ignore a couple of the people.   I've tried deleting the group and re-creating it and it still leaves off a couple people.  However when I go in and view the contact group they are clearly in there.   I have no problems getting messages to them separately or manually adding the names to the recipient list.  Only have issues when I try to use the 'group' list.   Any suggestions on how to fix?

Have just recently had to move my e-mail account to Live Mail from Outlook Express . Can I  do group e-mails as I could in Outlook?  With all the discussions I've read, I'm not sure Live Mail has this option.  If not wondering why?

Sorry for your trouble -  read further and figured it out

windows live mail will only send and receive on my sub account but not my default account

Hi, I have a Dell laptop which is running Windows 7 Home Premium.  For some reason when I open up my Windows Live Mail I keep on getting the message 'Your account was locked because you or someone else tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect email address or password. Please wait for some time and then try again.' When I click on 'cancel' button my messages then come through fine and email works fine.  Any ideas???

Hi

i am aware that this question is asked a lot and that every case is different.

My hotmail was hacked 3 weeks ago. The password was changed.

i followed the protocols to recover my account and validate ownership.

I completed the validation form with exactly the right information, but Microsoft continue to state that it is insufficient.

I have spoken to Live Chat agents numerous times and they informed me that I can validate my account manually.

I have requested this service but Microsoft refuse.

Is there anything else I can do?

Thankyou
