Question about Outlook Express

Hello,

I've recently built a new PC and installed Windows 8.1 and Windows live mail 2012. I'm also running the standard windows firewall and antivirus. My last PC was running Windows 7, WLM and my hotmail.com email account without any problem.

On initial setup of WLM I added my hotmail account by filling out the IMAP details. Once all my emails had downloaded I saw I had duplicate folders so I removed and re-added the account using the standard email address and password. All my emails downloaded OK and I was able to send and recieve without any problem, but I was missing my 'sent' folder. I then changed the email location folder to my secondary drive, and again still had access to all emails. I tried to delete some messages in my inbox but pressing the delete has no effect. Any ideas?

I've tried uninstalling live, cleaning the reg using ccleaner, restarting and then reinstalling. Restoring default settings, deleting the live folder under USER and using another folder for the email storage. I've also deleted emails using the web-based hotmail account and the changes appear in WLM.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have upgraded window live essential 2011 to window essential 2012 in window7. Previous Mail in inbox has vanished. How to retrieve the mail? I am using window7 64 bits.

What happened with hotmail? This is for another account of mine which is more important than this account. I went to a military boot camp and came back after about 3 months.
I logged in to my hotmail but can't view any email because I have to verify my email with an associated email address (which I don't remember). Need help.

I filled out the form in order to retrieve my account but to no avail. I tried everything I could.

Need help now. Is there any phone number I can call to get some tech support?

WLM was working just fine and then yesterday it wouldn't let me send photo emails.  I am using Windows Live Mail 2012 and have Windows 7.  I spent hours trying to get it to work and then I was so frustrated that I uninstalled WLM (from Control Panel) and reinstalled it.  Now I am able to send photo emails but my first email recipient replied that it requested an MSN code?   Please help!   thanks

Hi I have been sending photos with no problems for ages until now. Where now I get error messages and the photos don't back up,automatically to one drive. I use this a lot as part of my business and really need some help,ASAP. I have deinstalled the program and then reinstalled as per the invoice on one of the blogs previously.

I use my hotmail address to send photos.  They are posted on OneDrive.

Lately, I got the error message "Skydrive temporarily unavailable".

Not it's working, but the photos, no matter what size I click on in the "attach" box, are all reduced to 600x450, and show up very small (4"x6") on screen.

I was told this was a Windows Live Email, and not a OneDrive, issue.

Any ideas or suggestions?

i have installed windows live mail under windows 8.

i can not  add an account. 

each time i try to type my email adress and password, the button "Next" appears and if i klick on it ,password and email adres is remoeved .

my email adress is  ......@live.nl.

i tried everething but is impossible to add an accout.

could anybody help me please.
