Question about Outlook Express

I got this message:

Since you're trying to access sensitive info, you need to use a security code to verify your account. How would you like to receive your code?

The email account that hotmail wants to use is invalid and I can't seem to get around this. I can reset my password; which I did several times... but I haven't used this email, I can't hardly remember what it the email account is. How can I change this?

Please help. Thank you.

After using this many times in the past to send photos,  I received this error code today.  What happened recently to cause this and how can I fix it?

1. Click on the Menu bar located on the upper left part of the window.
2. Click on Options and choose Mail.
3. Under the Send tab, make sure that Save copy of sent messages in the 'Sent Items' folder is ticked.
4. Click on Apply and then OK.

I am having the same trouble in Windows 7 with WLM - the above has been done - can you help me?

Dear sir/ madam,

I am posting this issue on behalf of my uncle.

He is currently unable to access is mail(hotmail) through the web.
He is however logged in on his iPad where the password is stored and it works just fine.

Upon entering the same password he has on iPad into outlook.com we receive the message saying the password is incorrect.

So with these credentials we're not able to log into outlook.com
The default recovery email is the email provided by his ISP. Unfortunately they don't offer this service anymore as you can read here: https://www.uts.cw/personal/general/notifications/discontinuation-email-0
So any email send to that address cannot be accessed.

We have also tried filling out the form with the latest Email subjects and sent addresses but this has been rejected.

Please advise and lend support.
He is able to log into this email on the tablet and can provide you with any information you wish. If needed we can send scans of his passport for identification, anything to get his webmail back on track.

We've also created a ticket on https://support2.microsoft.com but have not received a response yet. It has been more then 24 hours and still no support from Microsoft. We can also provide you with this ticket number if it helps speed-up the process.

I've got a related problem.

When I sold my old apple mac I stored my outlook or was it entourage emails on disc, which I now need. I have unstuffed them with a stuffit expander and have them on my windows 7 desktop.  

It appears as an Identities folder inside which is Main Identity and inside that are the following files

Database, Database cache,Mailing lists, Preferences,Rules, Schedules, Signatures, Messages. Messages is approximately 1mb. None of the files has a file extension. 

I can only open the messages file with Windows Live if I rename it messages.eml, and then it opens as one very long message!

How do I import the messages as separate messages?

My friend has made a list of email addresses in Windows Live Mail. How and in which form can she send the list to me, so that I can use the addresses? She has sent her list to me three times and there exists only her own name and address.

Hi,

Since yesterday, when I log into Windows Live Mail none of my contacts are showing. If I start a new email and start to type someones name, whereas it used to give me a list of people that matched, it now does nothing and says that I don't have any contacts with an email address.

I have also noticed that I have a button on the top right hand corner of the screen saying "sign in". I don't believe this is usually there.

I have clicked on this and tried to sign in, even changed by password so I know I am using the correct one. When I click on the sign in button I get a sign in screen showing my ID. When I enter the password (which I know is correct) I get a message saying that either the sign in name does not exist, or I have entered an incorrect password.

Can anyone shed any light on what I may be able to do to resolve this?
