I tried the suggestions about going into the RegSur32 and managed to get past the first two suggestions.

Here is the message I received:

"Module initpki.dll failed to load."

"Make sure the binary is stored at the specific path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files."

"The specified module could not be found."

I have two email addresses using Windows Live Mail and am able to receive messages for one but not the other.

thanks for taking my question.

during a full scan by Security Essentials, the program freezes at a file.

This is what appears    C: windows installer  some letters and then  the words  "string data"

Since this has started happening, when and if, after many many hours the program might start up again.  However, there is never anything in quarantine or alerts..

Thanks

I can access emails on four devices, PC, laptop, iPad and iPhone.  When I delete messages  on one device they still appear on the others.  Is there a way of deleting messages from all devices in one action?

Split from this thread:

Exporting my windows live mail contacts to a file, I found on reading the file I had two contacts albeit name only and no email addresses. They do not show up when looking at the address book. This is in windows live mail client on my PC. If I access outlook through explorer they are not there. I have cleared out all my contacts downloaded from the exported copy after deleting the two hidden ones but they are still there if you export again.

By any chance, did you resolve this issue in the end? I seem to be plagued by it too.

From about 3 days ago I have not been able to send or receive Emails. The following error response keeps coming up.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Btinternet (fryattje) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your username and password for this account.

Server Error: 0x800CCC90
Server Response: -ERR [AUTH] (#MBR1212) Incorrect username or password.
Server: 'mail.btinternet.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No

Have tried all ways to change password without any success. A friend who is very computer literate reckons I have been hacked.

Very very frustrated

I use Windows Live Mail as my email program.  I receive my Verizon email in Windows Live.   Yesterday I started having problems receiving and sending emails.  When I first sign in, I get the log on window asking me to verify the user name and password.  When I click cancel, the following error message appears:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Verizon **** account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

 Server Error: 0x800CCC90

Server Response: -ERR [AUTH] (#AUTH012) Incorrect username or password.

Server: 'incoming.yahoo.verizon.net'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92

Protocol: POP3

Port: 995

Secure(SSL): Yes

I can access my emails through webmail but I have two accounts and it seems a hassle to have to login and out each account.  I contacted Verizon and they said it's a Microsoft problem, something to do with Yahoo.

Checking the Verizon Community Forum, this issue has occurred many times before.

I have not found anything online regarding a problem with Windows Live.  I was wondering if there is some website where I can search.

Thanks.

Attempting to setup up Windows Mail from Windows Vista Home Basic with my Gmail account. Keep getting error message that i cannot create account due to non-network issues. Error Code 800cc0e. Possibly no memory. RAM is 1GB. How do i find current amount of memory used?

Purchased laptop back in 2007 but never used Windows Mail. Now want to combine with Gmail.

Windows Live 2011 email fails  to load and says it has stopped responding but does not provide any information as to why. It  then closes down without opening. Have tried repair in Uninstall programmes and gone through the knowledge base and tried Microsoft Fix It tool without success. Would it help to download Essentails 2012 and reinstall, and/or do a cmd clean install ? Is the issue too many historic emails ?  if so can these be managed outside of the programme which is currently crashing ?

An unknown error has occurred.
