Question about Outlook Express

Getting this after removing account & re-adding.

I have Windows 7.

Windows Live wont open after reinstallation

Yesterday my default email account wouldn't sync., though the other 3 accounts did.

 a forum suggested uninstall/reinstall Live Mail to fix that error message, I installed Essentials, all components of it,

now windows live mail wont o[pen at all, the error message is:

 wlstartup.exe -Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point

located in the dynamic link library UXCore.dll

All of my old emails now are corrupt.  Some show up as completely blank when opened (no text, no header) whereas others are filled with odd characters.  

Expect this is related but somehow had malware issues yesterday as well.  IE was launching multiple instances in the background (invisible but showing up in task manager 'applications').  Was able to boot into safe mode and remove using malwarebytes.  Now scans are coming up clean but internet is still dog slow. 

Thoughts?  I had to leave it shut down and go to work but will try to add more details later.

On only one forum of many I do not now get Email notification to threads I am interested in.

It used to work for years.

On other forums there are no problems.

All boxes for notification have been ticked.

It seemed to happen after changing to Windows 7 from XP and Norton 360 was installed

Suggestions please to correct this problem

Really ticked off - I am getting nowhere  and cannot sort an issue out -

I have  Windows Live mail   I have a couple of Gmail accounts one of which works (or appears to work fine in Live mail the other I continually get the above error code.

I can access my Gmail from the web browser so no issues there but I cannot do anything in live mail - it simply keeps rejecting my login

I have deleted the account from my Live mail a couple of times trying various fixes. but nothing appears to work  I also get an invalid password on my Samsung  GT -C3530 

This just happened--It was working fine.  I use Windows Live 2011 and IE11.  I have changed nothing except routine updates from Microsoft.  The error message is: 

Unable to send or receive messages for the Msn (pinonbistro) (1) account.

I am able to send and receive emails in this account on my Iphone.  Coincidentally IE11 seems quite unstable--stops responding on occasion.  I cleared the cache and IE seems to work fine now.  I just used it to log into outlook.com and was able to send and receive emails.  Why can't I use Windows Live 2011 to do it?

no email will send or download for this id on live mail  but hot mail will work for this account
