For the last 3 weeks almost all of my incoming emails on live-mail are being marked as "SPAM", even some from my safe senders list.  They arrive in the inbox, however, not in the spam folder!

I do not have AVG.  I use Avast.

Please advise me how to stop this.  Thank you.

For years now, Windows Live Mail flatly refuses to filter out junk mail or spam. I have the security setting at "High." I have a massive list of Blocked Senders. Yet every email from every blocked sender still goes directly to my Inbox, and virtually nothing every goes directly to the junk mail folder. I can click on a junk mail in my Inbox, use the Junk drop-down menu to mark it as Junk and manually move it to the Junk Folder, and then the following day the same type of email sent from the same sender will again go directly to my Inbox without being blocked. In short, no matter what I do or what settings I apply, the Junk mail filter does absolutely nothing. The Junk folder would remain forever empty if I did not move mail into it manually from my Inbox AFTER it has already reached my inbox! I have the distinct impression that Windows Live Mail's claim to have a Junk filter is just a Microsoft fairytale.

I have a lumia phone and this includes a live.com email account, which I cannot seem to delete.

The live.com email account wishes to update security every month. In doing so  it seems to override my access to other more important email accounts on the phone by continuously requiring attention. By more important I mean work.

Why cannot I simply receive a message to attend to the account?

It asks for aanother email account to send a security code to. Whay does that take one month? Givning even less reason to use live.com.

Why can't I delete live.com from the phone?

I can delete mail and feeds from wlm but they remains on my laptop presumably on the hard drive how do I find and delete unwanted e mails  feeds and empty folders permanently from my laptop

When I start Windows Live Mail, my e-mail messages download, but when the calendar tries to sync I get the message  "There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative."

I have followed all of the suggestions on the forum that I can find.  I have deleted the contents of the Calendars folder. I have confirmed that Internet Explorer is on-line.  I have deleted and re-created the e-mail account.  I have uninstalled WLM and reinstalled it with the latest build.  The on-line calendar is fine, and syncs with my phone as do my contacts.  It is only the calendars that won't load; e-mail is fine.

As of today I can't send or recieve any mail on livemail error 0x80072EFD.

Can anyone tell me what to do to fix this problem?

I am attempting to send the fonts from my computer to a friend. I had to break them down in batches cause I have so many and it was too large to send in a single email. All but one sent. I keep getting this error now:

Unable to send or receive messages for the My Account account.

Subject 'Fonts.z01'
Server Error: 5203
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00006

I have attempted to correct this by deleting the account out of Windows Live Mail, adding it back and trying to send the message again from my Drafts folder. It keeps kicking it back at me. All the other emails with the same type of attachment sent just fine, its only that one that will not send and it was the first one out of all of them.

Can someone tell me what the limit for sending emails out is with Windows Live Mail? I've had this same account for YEARS and I'm pretty sure its been established that I don't spam but the attachment limit on my account is 5 MB or less so I had to send out 50 emails at once to my friend and I'm GUESSING this is what caused the issue.

If it is, how do I fix it? I haven't gotten any emails to my back up emails saying there was suspicious activity on my account (which I've gotten in the past for stupid reasons, such as logging in on my phone).

I've deleted the offending email from WLM and I'm attempting to update the address it was sent from.

Help?

My email account has reverted to a previous version with the result that numerous files have been lost. The system still allows import/export of current emails but I am unable to find data that was in the lost files. I would like to remove the bad version and download the current version from Live Mail but do not know how. Help Please.
